they like to nerf small neutral basic cards that are OP and played across numerous classes.

it's basically played in zoo, aggro/MR shaman, hunter, aggro pally (does that exist?).

the only playable neutral 1 mana card they haven't hit is argent squire and not sure how they can hit that.

if they'd hurry up and add a tournament mode it'd be a lot more relevant

right now i think blizz is setting a horrible precedent for listening to community whining - yea it's good they listen to feedback but overnerfing anything reddit whines hard about is gonna be really, really bad because you're conditioning them to whine about anything that's even slightly annoying or perceived as unfair and then that feedback becomes useless.

I won't call these nerfs overnerfing. They're certainly much less controversial than those Ancient of Lore and Blade Flurry nerfs.
I think all of the nerfs are perfect.

Judging from tweets most of pros are loving it.

i think the pros are morons sometimes and don't necessarily know what's best for the game - they think in terms of tournaments

was hoping for a doomhammer nerf but rockbiter to 2 mana is pretty ingenius instead.

I kinda hope theyll keep printing good shaman.

But with master of evo/thiung from below/maelstrom portal/spirit cvlaws theyll still be around after trogg and totem golem rotate out which is cool.

My only complaint is the lack of consistent nerfs. As far as specifically:

Rockbiter Is just too versatile. Because shamans thing has been windfury, 1 mana 6 damage is all too real; this is beyond broken when fireball has been the gold standard for damage ratio at 4:6. Most removal has been 2:3 (darkbomb, frostbolt, quick shot) so why the hell was this 1:3? By adding a mana it really hurts the early tempo remova but doesnt actually do much to limit burst. It does deny al akir 2x rockbiter, and puts a smaller cap on aggro shaman to turn 6 or 7 nullify you with doomhammer, but this is a positive change. Still think its viable.

I think tuskarr totemic's change is obviously warrented. The 3/4 ended the game most of the time and flame and mana were obviously huge. Ive said in the past rng cards that are overwhelmingly positive in EV are too good for this game, and when vitality totem was rotated out, this became a clear example of waaaay too much good rng. Its still a solid card btw - its a 3/4 for (or a 4/3) split across 2 bodies and producing a totem tag. This is why it was broken before, because the downside was still totally fine. Not sure what new shaman decks will look like but this could still make the cut.

Cotw is still OP btw. It is still more or less 12 mana for 9, has both endgame burst as well as employing a taunt to save the game. At least it hurts curve hunters who try to just last to turn 8 until they slam this, but it should be an auto include in all hunters still. Im all for curve decks to see nerfs.

Execute getting upticked in cost seems fair. It hurts tempo decks - dragon warrior specifically - the most, as forcing them to spend more of their mana on removing rather than developing slows them down. It is STILL very good. I will still run 2x in cw. Cant play like alex and execute now, or geddon execute hero power, nor can you like turn 3 taskmaster execute. So this hurts winrate vs aggro, which is a shame. I can only hope the specific nerfs to aggro more than outweigh the nerfs to removal.

Charge was not a problem card. I dont understand this nerf - were there really any otk charge decks running rampant on ladder? I played to r5 on 3 servers this month and played against the worgen deck maybe twice total. Seems like an odd nerf, because the arcane giant otk wasnt quite as strong as i thought it would be. They actually changed this card to make it fringe usable in patron, as it can maybe be creation and removal there, but obv its gone as a finisher. Just a very puzzling change to me.

I love nerfs to 1 drops. Abusive saw play in a lot of decks, but still has the same effect in a leeroy otk, a brann deck, and so forth. The battlecry is so strong it never really made sense to have an equal body as like worgen infiltrator. I dont know if this card sees play in aggro decks but maybe. Leper is completey **** - but this card is different.

Change to yogg is not what i wouldve done but im fine with this way of handling it. **** yogg.
