Execute >>> shield slam. It is the gold standard single target removal that can be put in any variety of warrior deck. Shield slam can only be effectively run in control variants.

That said, I've always wanted to see shield slam reduce armor by the amount of damage dealt to kill.

call nerf is p sizable, it will still be 2x obv but a lot of the time t8 is where hunter either stabilizes/sets up lethal with call or dies without it, now its delayed a turn. I think hunter decks will be going away from hybrid as you can't just fight for the board and then win on t8. Especially combined with the nerf to abusive, might as well go back to the older double doomsayer deck and run 0 1-drops and only eleks/grandmother at 2

i had quit hearthstone around LoE but Yogg brought me back. was the most fun card ive played in a card game and i'll miss killing time by logging in and seeing how big of a yogg i could make with my terrible druid spells deck.

I'll finally admit yogg was a problem but this nerf without making him at least a 7/7 is ridiculous. Also i think abusive goes to leper gnome status now in anything but zoo

abusive doesnt help with that really, only 2/1 that saw play was fiery bat (afaik?)

abusive existed to deal with 1 mana 1/3s and alex's champ when you combo it with squire

At least yogg promoted spell based strategy rather than the best minion on 1/2/3/4/5 garbage that we've all been subjected to far to many times. It really feels like they kill off any deck that makes you make decisions and can actually make a mistake playing.

The card is anti decision making, but at least the decks it was in had some semblance of skill involvement until the big coinflip.

Rockbiter dead. Not sure if that card was worth worrying about

Tuskarr dead. I have no idea why they didn't just make it a 3/3 so you can play it in Wicked Witchdoctor decks or whatever

Call of the Wild still seems strong but Hunter is gonna take a big hit

Execute is still playable in some decks. I think you'd play a 2 mana execute in the old Control Warrior decks that went to fatigue a lot. Might be too much mana for tempo decks.

I don't like the Charge nerf. The decks using it weren't good and the OTK decks actually required the player to think.

Abusive pretty much dead. I guess it might be an option for a Zoo deck with a very low curve or something. I wanted them to nerf this card last time. It was never going to stop being played because you just can't print many one drops better than this.

Think Yogg is dead but thinking about it its now has more variance. Like times where it naturalises itself on the first spell to ones where it doesn't die and you get 20 spells and its as good as it is now. It's probably dead as you might aswell play deathwing now

Yeah, Yogg is def done as a competitive card. He didn't have that much value to give away before he wasn't good enough to play.

I guess I'm glad that people can still pull the slot machine handle in crappy decks if that makes them happy.
