i have all the priest legendaries/most of the old cards, i desperately want it to work, but every time i play it im like nah. i'm only 100 wins away from gold too

forbidden shaping is good if priest is something you play. I have been using only 1x and if you are curious about it it's totally fine to use one to test it out.

I really like that vs aggro I have an 'oh ****' 3-4 drop.

I think my biggest leak with the card is holding it too long for the big payoff rather than using it like you mention here

It got a lot better with PotF, a few games ago I just cycled them both for wisps and 6 health at 3 health vs a hunter and it was enough to stabilize and win the game.

i just learned from the priest solo adventure quest that silencing a barnes'd minion turns it into its vanilla stats. had no idea the summoned 1/1 copies worked that way.

It only takes one or two great cards to make a bad class good.

If Priest got 1 or 2 super star cards that directly address its core weaknesses, it could easily rise to be a dominate class.

Kinda similar thing happened to Shaman the last few expansions.

Paladin also had this but many of its superstar cards have rotated out now.

I've heard several name players state they are kinda glad Priest is the worst class and don't want it ever rise to the top, their reasoning being that Priest as the best class would be far overall worse for the game than the other classes.

Priest will be fine I think. Feast is a lot better than I expected, and there's like no chance in hell that Bishop isn't stronger.

Priest really has been 'ok' for a long time, they are just realllly bad in a tempo meta. Last summer and fall during the Patron meta I was loving Priest because of how Patron shut out many decks that priest were weak against.

But since, in the last 6 months, the meta has been so 1/2/3/4/5 drop minion that priest cannot survive in. If that slows down Priest will be out of the cellar.

i subbed out a forbidden shaping for 1x cabal, still a lot of targets for that thing. deck still feels ok man. i survived an all out onslaught from an aggro sham and i cant even remember the last time i was able to do that

just got a 4x sylvanas entombed n'zoth against a emote spamming paladin. this is amazing.

went roughly like:

thoughtsteal -> sylvanas, n'zoth

play both sylvanas on same board, they get killed by a pyro equality

play first n'zoth for 2x sylvanas, he equalities again

he plays his n'zoth, entombed it, top deck it a turn later

concede

there's no way i dont get a friend request

i got a pretty neat combo aggainst aggro

priest of the feast on 4, he trades two into it.

Turn 5 I resurrect, resurrect, smite a 3/2.

ps: i hadnt taken into account beast druid when i was thinking about priest's potential. Beast druid will be spooky as hell. lightbomb would own them -.-

Yeah Priest isn't gonna have any game against Beast Druid or Midrange Hunter, both of which should be wrecking all the control decks that Priest can beat up on
