I assume that it's something in the code that says once a creature is at 0 health, it can no longer be rolled for damage. I don't think that I've seen a bomber 2 or 3 hit an x/1.

I'm still pretty bad, but I managed to ride Yusera to an 8-2 mage deck. I was pretty surprised that I didn't roll a single fireball or polymorph in the draft. I did get a flamestrike, blizzard, cone of cold and frost bolt. Basically my deck played out very aggressively, hoping for flamestrike/yusera finish.

It can however, not clear the board and hit the hero more times instead. obviously I guess.

Media, those AOEs are super helpful in area (and constructed). I've found my poorest performances are without them as a mage.

Im new to this game, so sorry for newb question. Is there any trading or do I just open the packs I get?

Unfortunately there is no trading, and as of right now no other way to use the packs other than to just open them.

10 straight arenas at 4 or less wins means that I am actually getting worse at this game.

Perhaps. Or maybe you have stayed the same, and everyone else is improving.

Just did my daily with some BS pally/priest decks that I threw together in 30 seconds. Only needed two wins. It took way too long. I need to build some real constructed decks if I want to just quickly knock these out w/o playing arenas.

It took me 7 games to get the two warrior wins last time that was the daily. I used that deck a few days ago for 5-1 so lol variance. Unranked.

So do the ****ing 2-3 damage to all EVER do max damage to things that need it? I played 4 shaman arenas today and lightning storms and it overkilled small **** and never hit max damage when I needed it to trade. Not once...

Probably karma for all those timely taunt totems shamans always get.

I didn't realize this until just right now. You can play unranked to do those ****ty quests with decks you don't have prepared?

So yesterday I played the ESL-Cup (http://www.esl.eu/eu/hearthstone/1on...cup6/rankings/)

I won my first 6 rounds and then I faced Diamondprox (famous LoL pro from team Gambit Gaming) in the QF.
top 3 get Razer gear so this is a bubble match pretty much.

I was streaming the tournament with a 90 second delay. For some reason he played really, really slowly in the first two games, including a situation where he used the coin on turn one and took max time (90 seconds) for his second turn. At that point I got really, really suspicious, but couldn't do much about it. I thought the only reason to take that long is to check out my hand if hes watching my stream. I mentioned that on stream.

We split two really close games, and then he stomped me game 3 playing quickly.

Afterwards a user sent me his screenshot of the match:

It's the screenshot he submitted for the SF. For some reason he uploaded the wrong screenshot.
As you can clearly see in the background, he was watching my stream, and if you have a look at the chat its obvious that he was watching the stream for quite some time already.

Did you report him? If he's a sponsored pro he could easily lose his sponsorship doing shady stuff like that.

At the very least you need to contact esl and get him thrown out of the competition.

yeah, i reported him. not sure if ESL will do anything about it

that seems pretty scummy. however, i have to ask:

a) when you got suspicious, why not make it 2 min delay?
b) weren't you watching your stream chat? in the SS you can see someone asserting with some surprise that diamond is one of the stream viewers. Surely you would have noticed this earlier no? Since you mentioned in chat that him ghosting would be the only reason he'd take so long, i'm sure SOMEONE would have mentioned/noticed 'hey he's on the viewer list right now'.

Just to be clear, I'm not looking for holes or anything, it's just these things don't make any sense to me

a) Changing the delay is a pita. i would have to restart the stream during the game. more delay => worse communication with the viewers
b) i did see that and it was after i mentioned that he might be ghosting. ppl talk a lot of smack in chat, and it wouldnt make any sense for Diamondprox to use his official twitch account anyway if hes ghosting.
As you can see in the screenshot he was logged out.
c) the screenshot he uploaded was 2013-12-01_Santa_vs_Diamondprox_(Round_2_Diamondprox).png, i made a thread on reddit. It got insta deleted so I had to remove all personal information from the post.
I edited the screenshot so you cant see his battle.net username.
The post was up for a few hours now its removed again, no idea why. Im a reddit noob

According to reddit, if you ever do anything to put yourself in a position to be victimised, the blame is 100% on you when it actually happens. Wow, I can't believe how unethical these people are.

Basically, at this point, if I get a bad draw or my opponent gets a good one, I get too far behind and it's almost impossible to catch up.

I don't claim to be good at constructed or even warrior in general, but can you identify the actual issues that you have? Is it just getting rushed by a warlock or whatever. Dealing with a big guys.

I almost always like to have unconditional removal. Maybe execute would have some utility if it's big dumb dudes that are the issue. If needing to comeback is the issue, brawl would seem pretty obvious.

The main problem is when I get a bad draw against really fast decks, and they manage to have enough to consistently clear me while maintaining their board. Execute is one of the worst removals against aggro decks imo, that's why I don't use it.

I was running with two shield blocks before, as it gave me some stalling time + card draw when things were bad, but I found too often that my turn 2 or 3 play would get killed, and I would have nothing to buff on turn 3 or 4 with Shattered, Dark Iron, Defender of Argus, etc.
