When you end your turn and your opponent has lethal but you don't concede, then your opponent misses lethal completely and you win you wonder how many wins you missed out on over the years when you concede too early.

alternately, when you have lethal, your opponent ends his turn without conceding and your connection drops and by the time you get back on he's skanked a win

I read this yesterday and later happened to play a game where my opponent had lethal on the board and I had no taunts. Instead of conceding as I normally would, I decided to see what he would do. Sure enough, he decided to take out my minions instead of going for face, and I ended up winning on the next turn. Granted I'm playing at the level where my opponents make a lot of derp moves (as do I), but still it was kind of funny after reading your post.

The only downside I can see to not conceding is you get those opponents who decide to drag out the last turn as long as possible, playing every minion and casting every spell they can even though they already have enough to take you out, which gets to be annoying.

I'm at 7700 currently, up from three days ago when I was at 7400, but in between there was a fall off the cliff to 6450. Swings can be very large.

Just hit 5k today which feels like a milestone. Now I'm almost afraid to play again because I don't want the 5 to go away lol.

Had an interesting game with Rafaam where I found/stole my way to a full board of decent murlocs so I decided to go with it. Leveled up fast and and eventually got both Brann and a Megasaur, but the Megasaur whiffed both times on shields/poison and had to settle for some stat buffs. Thought it was over but then a few timely Toxfins and Bagurgles ended up saving the day and I snagged a 1st. Maybe murlocs aren't dead after all.

The thing with murlocs is that they're sorta like they were in the beginning of BG, which is they're good in the early rounds and the strongest possible endgame, but now they just suffer terribly in the midgame. So there are a lot of times you have to decide to cut bait on murlocs pretty early, and gambling on getting there is pretty risky. Basically you need a big early Brann + Seer or Bagurgle turn that sets you on your course.

What happens a lot of times is you'll have a big murloc board and cruising along, and then you run into someone that has a Ghastcoiler + Baron comp that just rekts you for like 18 damage in one turn and you're done.

I feel like I need to learn how to properly play all of these, which is why Nefarian has given me the best results of all. Getting decent with Rafaam and I sort of have a basic Deryl strat -- pick one minion to buff then buy the other 3 and sell them right away, though it only works if you don't go past tavern level 3.

Just had my most exciting game ever. Started with George and a couple of Wrath Weavers and Homunculus and spent most of the game in 8th trying to roll some demons. I think I lost my first 5-6 battles and was only hoping by some miracle to get a top 4. Then slowly found some good demons and tripled the WW and was able to shield them one at a time with George's power.

Eventually down to 3 players and I was at very low health but with a solid big stat demon lineup with a couple of Soul Jugglers at the end, all shielded. At one point I bought a Malganis but because I was down to literally one hit point wasn't sure if the immune would take effect before the hit from the WW so I didn't play him. By that time my lineup was pretty scary anyway though and I managed to wipe out the other two players and get 1st. Got a bit lucky though that there was no Nefarian in the game.

When are they going to start talking about new cards for the upcoming single player?

Hope they don't hit Pirate Warrior too hard, as it's become my favorite deck to play in constructed. But I've heard they're going to nerf it as well as Deathrattle Rogue. In addition to some minor changes to Battlegrounds.

Haven't heard anything about new cards though.

wow, hunter's super interactive "make 57 leper gnomes" sure is a fun deck to play against

I've made my hatred of secret mage known in the past but this hunter deck reminds me of it. The only thing that matters in the whole game is your life total. Just sitting there doing nothing because they've got secrets to counter everything you do that they cheat out of their deck while they aim burn at your face. It's such a boring experience. It's ruined wild and now it's back in standard.

The new alexstrasza into old alexstrasza + deathwing/other shenanigans is kind of a fun mechanic, but otherwise I'm not finding a ton of fun decks to play in this meta. Trying to hit legend with a non-aggro deck this month, but really can't stick to anything that's consistently fun + wins.

Yup. Buff does almost nothing, except for make the class weaker against face hunter. We are in for a very heavy hunter meta

I've been watching Bebe, the Korean streamer who is over 11K MMR, and I think the thing he does that is noticeable is he rolls way less than I do. Just buy the best available units at all time and make put your gold on the board.
