LPG shouldn’t just be unplayable, it shouldn’t exist. Cards like that are game breaking. They’re either so oppressive that the game ceases to be fun, or they’re unplayable. That’s bad design.

I think the conj calling nerf is quite relevant, if for no other reason than making double conj turns significantly harder.

It’s also out of the magic trick card pool.

what decks will benefit from these nerfs?

I think these nerfs are very good for rogue so I'm happy about that.

I think druid quest falls to like Tier 3/4 and I think it helps spell hunter quite a bit.

Think combo priest will be tier 1 even with the nerf.

Been playing your deck, 6-3 so far seems fun. Made one change, +2 cable rats -2 Pharoah Cat, because most of the reborn pulls suck and lackeys are always playable.

Hooktusk has been perfect finisher every time I've played it.

real talk though LPG at 5 is the most embarrassing decision they've made in years but going back to 7 is just as bad.

Closing in on fifth golden hero, Hunter. Been playing some Zephyrs hunter and it's pretty good. Would love to use Vareesa but she doesn't really work when you also run Brann. They finally found a way to make King Krush OP.

Try the Maly version if you want to have fun (and lose).

Nice. I had a golden and all the legendaries. I kept my regular copies of Conjurers. It should still see play.

LPG and conj both probably gonna be played still, would guess something like 80% of mage decks keep CC and 50% keep LPG

I was pretty wrong on this.Khartut is great although the reborn package isn't amazing. Still good in taunt warrior and in most control decks.

Swarm of locusts definitely did not become the best card in the set. As I said, it's a bad version of Unleash the Hounds or Bees. Lazy design. If it could go face you'd have something, as hunter always wants reach. It also has anti-synergy with Zul'jin.

I've been playing some Zephyrs hunter and it's actually a passable control deck in a lot of matchups.

Some comments on the post nerf meta:

I just hate the state of Druid. Quest Druid is beyond brainless, there are no decisions to be made, the whole deck plays itself. Ramp Druid was one of my favorite decks, and the first deck I took to top 100 legend. It’s super frustrating seeing where this class ended up. Honestly the most annoying part about the deck is the 1 / 4 that draws cards. Why give a secondary award for not spending mana?

Mogu fleshshaper should not be a card. Turn 4 or 5 trade and evolve is just way too easy. The deck is strong enough without this BS highroll. Surprise surprise, the card that can be reduced to 0 mana is busted. Has corridor creeper taught us nothing?

Priest seems real bad after the nerf. I wouldn’t have guessed it, I didn’t think extra arms was that impactful.

I like that warrior deck that uses the neutral healing 2 drop. It’s really cool, and is actually a *gasp* midrange deck! What is this sorcery?

Rogue is just so shallow right now. I have spent way too much time trying to craft different decks, and almost nothing works except smashing face.

Mage is just gone from the meta. I suspected as much, without it’s highroll shenanigans, the decks are just not good.

I haven’t seen as much murloc paladin as I was expecting post nerf. I thought this deck would spike in popularity, but it’s all shaman and Druid.

the neferset thrasher/diseased vulture combo is great, evil recruiter is great, deck overall feels pretty solid

I think it's weird there's so much shaman and no one is using the Thijs version that runs plague of murlocs + hungry crab, that innovation is brilliant IMO.

I agree the Druid quest sucks and ramp druid was way better and healthier for the meta. It was a deck that could feed wins to the more aggressive decks and punish the control decks with no real proactive plan.

Rogue needs something that can swing the game vs. the oppressive board states created by Murloc Pally or Shaman or a turn 3-5 threat that lets it go under those decks. At the moment it feels like it's just Hench-clan Thug so yeah, just go face.

With today's crafting of Mekgineer Thermaplugg, I officially have every card in HS. Pretty lame, but that's that I suppose.

been futzing around all month between ranks 10-7 with various rogue decks,some zoo and singleton hunter. Made a 1 card change to hunter and got to rank 4. It was -1 Bomb Toss +1 Hunter's Mark.

Don't feel like it was that impactful but Bomb Toss was doing little in the deck (no mechs).

I am genuinely impressed.

Ha! That was my favorite card back when I first started playing HS. It was one of the few legendaries I had, I would jam it in every deck.

I just played a murloc Paladin mirror. I went first and had a small lead on board. I played Prismatic Lens on 4 and he had conceded by the time the UI switched the cost on my Chef Nomi (7) and Tip The Scales (8).

Just crafted what I needed for this deck, seems pretty fun and strong though I need to get a better idea of how to mulligan and play.
