I've barely played the last few weeks so I don't really know how the meta has shifted lately but that's one interesting deck: very low mana, only one legendary. What's your WR with it and at what rank(s)?

there is another mana cyclone list that's a bit better but it's an interesting deck with a pretty high skill cap

This deck has elements of apx’s and others. Apx for example runs 2x rabble, Antonidas, Harrison, Khadgar, among a few other changes but pretty confident I’ve played his.

Difference with my deck above is we give up those high value cards for more consistent Luna draws and faster questing/addict build up. If you want to run antonidas or vex crow or 4 mana spell lady feel free they’re pretty strong.

All spell mage decks are high skill cap though with a lot of options which is the type of deck I like to play

Not really all-in, the deck has 4 win conditions:
1) Questing Adventurer snowball
2) Mana Addict big turn
3) Giants + Conj Calling
4) Chip damage then fireball/pyros/frostbolts from the mana cyclones

of course just surviving to turn 7-10 against rogue/druid often just wins

yah, honestly that's what i enjoy the most about the deck - it's potential is still barely understood and it has such a high skill cap.

Basically, here's the minimum i'd say you need to make the deck work:

That's 19/30 cards, while there's a ton of different options to fill those last 11 cards like Khadgar, Vex Crow, exotic mountseller, Archmage Antonidas, stargazer, another buffoon, rabble bouncer, sea giant, sandbinder, zilliax, questing, research project, mana addict, frost nova/doomsayer, frostbolt, arcane missile, tome, messenger raven, archmage vargoth, violet spellsword, and more but again only 11 spots you can put in

I was playing big shaman against a control warrior. He shield slammed two of my totems on like turn 4. It didn't matter, he played 6 omega devastators

Ran into a bit of bad luck with the spell deck then tried something completely crazy that didnt work and tanked to 5, 1 away from 2 now with this deck with an 11-win streak

Think there's a big advantage with this one over the other versions where you have to hold mountain giant for conj calling normally, whereas this deck you can slap MG on 3 or 4 and be fine with it dying because you can conj calling jan'alai or astromancer as well, or sometimes zilliax/twilight.

same thing with Khadgar where you can now also use him with astromancer or POC, or the dream with Jan'alai

quick aside i apologize if anyone dislikes the mage spam of posts like this, it seems kinda slow in here sometimes and I legitimately am enjoying playing these decks.

Seems like there a ton of potential replacement cards in that deck. Loot Hoarder over Kalecgos for example? Frost Novas/MCTs could probably get in there too. A dragon deck without the 5/4 rush guys seems a bit unique too.

How about running book of specters for Arugal synergy and minion draw? I think I've seen it done. Seems super counter-intuitive in this deck but I think I heard the logic being your few minions are so valuable and you have other spell generation it's worth to dig for them.

I just don't understand blizzard sometimes. It's like if raiding in wow gave no loot, yah solo adventures were kinda fun but seriously no reward per chapter for being heroic?

People spend money on micro-transactions in games all the time just for cosmetic stuff. I'm not saying it's a good deal, but I do think there is a somewhat weird bias of the 2p2 gaming forum to be like old ladies snipping every coupon and being super frugal like they have to grind 0.01/0.02 for months to buy a $5 indie game.

You're getting 15 packs of RoS, a golden classic pack, a golden legendary AND solo-game content. I don't think the price is that bad, although it's probably something I won't get. I'm also assuming the above graphic is correct and that you get all that stuff for $20.
