Been trying to make darkest hour work, kinda weak early game but 9-8 at dumpster legend.

2 win conditions: Tempo with fiendish or rafaams + darkest hour, or betrug+plot twist
2nd win condition is fatigue with hakkar into rafaam like i did in this game

Lol I played a thief rogue with mechathun warrior and had him down to my last turn where I would finally pull off the combo except he pulled hakkar from his togwaggle treasure and crushed my soul

I like that aggro decks are using rafaam and togwaggle, makes games more interesting without being op.

Rafaam is so annoying I swear they always get Mojomaster and F me

I would have won in a few turns

starting to see archmage arugala salad appear in khadgar decks, it's a good bit of value especially with book of specters or sandbinder or jepetto, but it's obviously really slow.

Also seeing Kalecgos getting cut in competitive decks for being too slow, not surprising but sad to see

I prefer kalecgos due to back up burst or aoe

he's also a great conj calling target

reminder to craft golden conj calling and rafaam or anything that generates new minions because they'll also be golden

My favourite card in my collection is golden sneed's for that reason.

I was lucky enough to open one golden Conjurer's Calling, and if the archetype endures as viable, I'll surely craft another one. (A quick audit of my collection tells me I already followed through on this).

Back in the early days of HS (around the switch from Beta to release), I played a ton of Priest, and my prized possesions were a pair of golden Thoughtsteals.

The only golden legendaries I've crafted are Genn and Baku. I really regret not crafting golden Sylvanas and Ragnaros.

golden hero cards have a lot of short and long term value and you get a lot out of using them

I hate OTK decks. It feels so dumb to be at 30 health with a Tirion on board, and just die to treants.

I have been so optimistic this whole expansion and that's the first time I ended a game feeling like I just wasted a bunch of money.

How can you get OTK'd by treants? They don't have charge.

i assume something like opponent had a board of treants and did something like double savage roar + power of the wild

Yes, this is what happened.

I'm using the term OTK to refer to going from 30 to 0 in one turn. I feel like it's exaggerated by having a 6 health taunt and divine shield on board. This is probably my stubbornness to appreciate that the game can be about achieving a particular board state for your win condition, and doesn't have to be about playing any particular minion cards.

The real insult to injury is that he was at 8 health, and when he hit me with a 7 attack treant, my Eye for an Eye from desperate measures triggered.
