It's a really bad sign that 2 weeks after a new expansion, people are already looking forward to the next one.
Also notable is that Blizzard announced they are essentially putting Heroes of the Storm on maintenance mode. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to find more ways to monetize Hearthstone and/or cut the budget. I don't expect tournament mode to ever come back.
the last 3 have been basically worthless xpacs outside of Baku and Genn. and once the rotation hits most of the decks utilizing them will be useless. the amount of bad cards pumped up the last 3 is insane.
I think that there's a healthy diversity in the meta right now. It still feels new.
I feel like people want each expansion to be like Kobolds and Catacombs, where it completes a completely new archetype like Cubelock. That way they can say that the expansion felt totally different than the last. Cubelock completely dominated the meta and marked the beginning of a very unhealthy time that carried all the way through the witchwood release until Blizzard nerfed two of the K&C warlock cards.
K&C had a HUGE impact on the everyday Hearthstone experience, that doesn't mean it was fun.
I kinda admire the guy who pulled an Unstable Evolution + Kragwa combo on me for finding a way to burn through that 'play 100 cards' quest as fast as possible.
Yeah they didn’t nerf the legendary, totally op cards but their key sister cards.
UI is the issue but nerf the two cheap cards. Obviously UI goes away soon.
Nerf the life steal but not kingsbane directly.
Nerf saronite and not shudder directly.
Odd pally OP, and nerf it’s most important card but give it to even.
Now Druid decks are just slower.
Will this mean aggro is evena bigger issue?
They destroyed some of the more skillful decks but some that were insanely annoying to play against.
I know they don’t like countering everything but I would still love to see a weapon card or a card that can silence a card like kingsbane or any death rattle.
Hunter which was already Op is going to need some nerfing. Maybe it’s making playdead and stalker one more mana.
Not sure how they can hit your favorite deck, taunt Druid more than they have.
Do you think making cube one more mana will make a huge difference?
