That said, even though I don't agree with all the nerfs or even the fact some cards were left alone (mostly DKs) the fact they are willing to nerf at all is a great thing. they ****ed up by leaving dr boom the dominant card for 2 years of hearthstone, if they are changing their mentality it improves the games health

guldan should have definitely eaten a nerf, card is just bonkers busted.

its a hybrid deck. it doesn't face rush you down from turn 1 - it cant - but callto arms power swing with equality clears to SMOrc (and avenging wrath finishers) means it is a fast midrange deck

I would have loved to see them nerf Gul'dan, maybe to 2 damage/ 2 heal hero power so it's not so insane.

Also Skull is a huge problem imo because it forces games to be decided by whether or not you drew your weapon removal by turn 5 and creates non-games where you just get blown out and is really unfun. In a similar fashion but not as drastic as naga + giants on turn 5 have you drawn your answer, if not you die.

Warlock will still be super powerful I imagine. It's amazing how busted they made that class. It was unplayably bad during ungoro then 2 expansions later nerfing 2 key cards from the class just doesn't feel good enough.

King Mukla + Naturalize is a fun combo in tavern brawl this week.

50/50 against mana wyrm+missiles and priest/mind blast, but rolls over a lot of decks (keep naturalizing their minions)

I actually cleared with world twig / lich king. I've generally liked these 2-4 card brawls but some of the combos show up every time like the aforementioned wyrm/priest combos. Would be nice if they could lock out certain cards or do something that after you've won with a particular 2 card combo you can't repeat it.

Yeah the only issue with naturalize I’ve found is if there are no minions. I tried it with howl plus naturalize and I won but pretty luckily against some weird warrior with whirlwind and the 2 mana 4 damage hero attack and some weird priest mind blast and one mana 1/1 death rattle.

I keep trying stupid combos in the tavern brawl but keep running into mana wyrm missiles or mind blasts and it kinda ruins the fun

Seems like Twig + Starfire is super OP. Get to turn 5 and there is almost nothing they can do. I'm not willing to craft Twig to win though.

finally completed toki

almost conceded to redraw my choices as well. Picked the minions costing 5 or more cost 5 and didn't see a minion above 5 mana until my 4th round of buckets.

Somehow didn't get screwed by rng enough to win

solo adventures > ladder grinding imo

i went back to finish all the dungeon runs and having way more fun doing it than playing the ladder. first time around i didnt really like the solos that much but the witchwood solos got me hooked.

So what are everyone's post-nerf meta predictions? Definitely seems like aggro is going to be stronger overall. I'm going to lol when Murloc Paladin still boasts over 55% winrate despite CTA nerf. I just got a Sunkeeper Tarim from a pack 2 days before the nerf and only need like another 1.5k dust worth of stuff to build a murloc paladin deck. I really don't understand why this deck is so unpopular; I've run into it maybe once for every 30 cube/control locks.

I think some kind of odd-paladin variant where people only run 6-10 one drops and more late game cards could be really good. Main reason it was kinda bad before was autoloss to control or cube warlock. I've been experimenting with a variant that uses Frostwolf Warlords and some guy on hearthpwn hit pretty high legend (https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1114...nd-odd-paladin) using this kind of approach and with Bittertide Hydras. There's so much AOE and taunt in this meta I reckon that a more midrangey approach knowing you'll always have a boost on refilling the board might work better than slotting 14 1-drops in your deck and spamming them while praying you draw level-up, get a sunkeeper off of your stonehill, or draw your stormwind champ.

Odd Rogue definitely going to be coming up, and I kinda hope to see more keleseth tempo/miracle rogue as well. Both make for very interesting games.

Really praying quest warrior/fatigue warrior don't get popular; they make basically the most boring games imaginable.

Its an old archetype and its not that interesting to play.
