Found a bug, or at least a weird interaction.

If you cast unidentified elixir with the “deathrattle: return this to your hand” on the 2/2 version of pyros, when it dies you do not get the 2/2 and 6/6 versions, you only get the 6/6.

I guess it could be correct, but it seems really unintuitive.

The “logic” would be that once pyro’s normal deathrattle goes off, it is returned to your hand as a 6 mana 6/6. Not a copy, the original minion. Thus the second deathrattle from the spell can’t go off, since the minion has already been returned to hand.

Seems like a dumb interaction to me.

to whoever asked me earlier why crazed alch is in dragon/inner fire priest, it's an anti-skulking geist tech. everyone seems to run geist now.

it's amazing i suck so bad at this deck, inner fire combo priest was my **** back when i was new at the game. i miss lethal so much

been fooling around a bit more with that list, made it a little less memey

its pretty fun - not as good as standard combo priest, but def entertaining and good enough to hold its own

found yet another weird bug from playing this deck

i have tortollan shellraiser and a cleric on board - playing vs priest

he casts pint sized potion (makes the cleric a 0/3) and kills the shellraiser

the cleric goes to a 0/4 instead of a 1/4

there is no way that is correct

The reason why the dragon deck is so much stronger is duskbreaker (and the dragon activated aldor peacekeeper guy)

If you forgo that list, I think your best bet is old school silence priest

Is it because it's a -2/3 while the Potion is in play? Does it go to a 2/4 next turn?

I suddenly figured it out and won like 12 in a row with it. That's an interesting take on alchemist. I think void ripper might be better but idk.

you really only are going to try to lethal with one minion, not a whole board, so alchemist being 2 mana vs ripper's 3 mana is very favorable for lethal combos that can involve like 5 or 6 cards.

the reason i was using void ripper in that goofy list is b/c i generally go wider with a bunch of high health minions

in traditional dragon combo alchemist is much better, as you're just trying to jam one minion to face

14-5 with this deck and climbing steadily



it's obscenely strong against priest which is like 50% of matchups at my rank. shreds mage to pieces. it can coinflip against cubelock by blowing games out by turn 5 or with the double silence. Control lock is really the only super unfavored matchup.

basically you just curve out best as you can and smash face. You can know within turn 6 if you're definitely going to lose and you just move on to the next one.

against other aggro it seems to struggle - especially murloc paladin, which is not that plentiful at my rank but they can just get bigger minions out faster and maintain tempo easier than i can.

i hate playing aggro and i hate paladin even more but this seems like a solid deck for this meta if you're seeing mostly mages, priests, and warlocks, which is pretty much everything I'm seeing atm.

changes i'd make - maybe something for the dire moles, idk. they're good but don't really help you against your main killer, AOE (duskbreaker and hellfire). i'd rather have more bubbles or another big threat. could definitely tech in a bloodknight or something.

it runs so many 1 drops and that minion just feels meh.

actually yea now that i'm editing like crazy and thinking about it, -1 mole +1 bloodknight is good as ****. having an additional 3 drop to curve into a divine shield synergy is great. even if he never goes off, vanilla 3 mana 3/3 isnt bad. rallying blade is a keep in almost every matchup just because of the coin -> divine shield synergy 3 drop play and it goes off a lot.

a really underrated and not often discussed aspect of call to arms is not that it's insane value, but it's basically thinning your deck by 3 ****ty top deck, low cost cards. this is so insanely valuable in an aggro deck.

like VS said this week, they need to be extremely careful about printing powerful cheap cards for the next several expansions or that card will break the game.

lol i'm 95% sure that barring nerf some type of aggro paladin will be the best deck in the standard meta until the rotation that rotates call to arms, and indefinitely in wild.
