So it turns out that after 3 years of playing, the freeze mechanic doesn't work like I thought it did. I noticed that hyldnir frostcaller wasnt freezing my stealthed minions the way I thought it should in that they could attack the turn after I played hyldnir. Google found this thread which explained that because I hadn't attacked with the stealthed minion on the turn I played hyldnir that counted as a missed attacking opportunity and it was unfrozen at the end of the turn.

So if you go:
turn 2: play a 2 drop
Turn 3: don't attack with the 2, play hyldnir.
On turn 4 you'll be able to attack with the 2 drop again.
However if you play a 2 drop then hyldnir on 5 the 2 won't be able to attack on 6 because it hasn't missed an attacking opportunity yet.

Maybe this isn't news to most of you but it was pretty mind blowing for me and will change how I play in arena significantly. Could also be a thing with tortollan primalist -> cone of cold or whatever.

I try to give blizzard the benefit of the doubt re: card design cos I know how hard it is for even the smartest people to predict how cards will perform (remember when lifecoach quit the game after begging blizzard not to release the hunter quest?) but then they do something as incredibly stupid as this. Like, small time buccaneer was nerfed twice in development before it was released as one of the most op cards of the set. Who the **** do they have in the team that thinks a small time buccaneer on steroids is a reasonable one drop.

Prediction: Dire Mole is going to keep aggro druid at teir 1

Too bad dragonslayer doesn’t do enough damage to actually slay my dragons

But yah I’m liking these cards a lot, if only they’d remove crab type cards

I'm ready to go. Pre-release deal, 30ish packs from gold, free packs from dungeon runs and I'll usually throw in another $50 purchase. Really looking forward to it.

Have 2k gold, 2k dust + 50 unopened kft packs and I'm just going to see what I can do with that. I'm pretty much only playing arena and don't feel like throwing any more money at blizzard.

Last night I couldn't pick up a new daily quest and the issue is still not solved.

Cracked a Golden Temporus. I do love me some Priest but I had to lol at that.

75 packs--Fungal Lord, dragon soul, geoskulpter, skull of manari (free) 3 crushing walls (epic) including 2 golden...11 epics in total, 3 golden epics...decent hall but could have been better

They fixed it. Time to rip open them packs!

Opened 59 packs on my other account, I got 6 legendaries plus Marin and a free one and opened a legendary in each of my last 3 packs. Finally run hot when it comes to legendaries.

I think the hunter spellstone is one of the best cards of the expansion. Thank goodness for duskbreaker to lower it's effectiveness.

30 packs. Only legendary was Dragoncaller Alanna. Does Control Mage have any chance at existing this xpac? The free weapon was the Shaman one (8 mana 3/3 when you attack discover a spell and cast with random targets) which also seems bad

The dungeon runs are fun. Opening packs? Not so much.
