It's gone beyond enjoyment for me, i wouldnt say i dont enjoy it. I hated ungoro and stopped laddering beyond rank 5 and focused on arena.

This is the only competitive game I've ever put this much time into, and now that i'm pretty consistently hitting big boy ranks (and occasionally making money) why would i stop?

after two months of playing razakus inspire priest in wild it finally happened. Kabal Courier into Coldarra Drake into infinite damage.

god this is the hardest rank 3/4 quagmire I've ever been in. Nearly 100% rogue down here, nothing seems to counter it. And there's like 400 different builds, all annoying, so teching seems somewhat impossible, much less playing around things.

In metas like this it seems optimal to "play around nothing" and pray, and I hate that.

I've been playing Xixo's midrangey Curator jade druid and it's great. Have had some amazing close comeback wins with it. Really hammers home how great Primordial Drake is.

**** the guy that decided to make Cobalt Scalebane a dragon right in the ass.

At this point I'm not even worried about prince on 2 anymore. Scalebane on 5 is a much bigger death sentence, unless I rip a death.

Rogue is unstoppable, unless I am playing it, in which case it is totally stoppable.

Played constructed for the first time in a couple months. Game is just literally unfun now. I tried playing tempo rogue seems super OP and brokeback. Tournament meta is very undiverse due to how strong Razakus/Jade are so I don't really want to play open cups even.

I know someone going to Worlds who says they hate hearthstone now and don't even play anymore.

Even deckbuilding isn't fun now. If I put 2 fledgings, bonemares, and scalebanes in a deck and randomly generated the rest of the deck it would be stronger than anything I could come up with. The n'zoth warrior seems fun but it would take forever to ladder with and I am at rank 19 rn due to not playing for so long.

I wish there were a genuinely good midrange deck I would enjoy playing that. May try and hit legend with quest warrior which is really a tempo/midrange deck...all my complaining aside I do still enjoy watching the game a lot.

I think the game’s overall in a good place though compared to last year. Zoolock has been a big winner at dreamhack

I honestly got seriously into the game about exactly one year ago though I remember everyone hated it then cause of mid-range shaman but I didn't play enough ladder to experience or care about it's oppressiveness heh.

Zoolock will do well in a last hero standing open tourney like DH. It's why amnesiasc brought a post-nerf pirate warrior and Chakki aggro palladin and there was a lot of big druid/big priest compared to a normal tournament...need to highroll and an insane greedy deck or highrolly aggro deck has a chance of 3-0'ing someone when you nut draw regardless of their lineup.

it fares well on ladder according to VS, it's the #2 deck.

I've been playing for 2 years, only seriously for about ~6 months, and for most of the time I've played this game the game has been in some sort of terrible state. patron nerf was right when I started, then came the secret pally/combo druid era, then yogg spell druid, then mid shaman. it wasnt really til this year the game became worth playing seriously to me, then this expac made me question my decision.

the game's fine now imo. like, new ****'s being innovated every day, the meta is slowly evolving, and every class except warrior has a viable deck (which I'd argue against, because n'zoth warr kicks my ass every time). 2 control decks are tier 1/2. not much more you can ask for from this game.

2017 has been a great year for hearthstone. If you take away how slow they were to nerf druid, they almost couldn't have done better.

highlander is a bit too strong but nothing crazy

the only single pure face deck isnt tier 1, still a decent amount of aggro/board control decks, and combo decks, and a few control (yes jade druid is control)

it gets shredded by jade druid, it's maybe 50-50ish if you tech geist but as big of a fan as i am of that tech, admittedly it's a terrible card.

the strongest decks are ~52% right now. it's a great meta, stats wise

this meta has really exposed how bad I am at playing decks that aren't control aggro or combo. I do so bad with warlock and rogue. I'm thinking I need to play more arena to brush up on my minion skillz. the only non aggro or control deck I ever did well with was murloc pala, which is supposedly good again but I'll believe it when i see it.

This isn't really reflective of how good it is due to the low skill floor. That being said, the ladder is reflective of a Last Hero Standing open mass-field tournament so I'm not surprised it does well.

In a conquest tourney has to be better to bring tempo rogue, razakus priest, jade druid, evolve shaman.

Hopefully the Dodgers don't sue you/shut down your stream. Oh well, will be rooting for you guys in the WS.

OW was fun but gotta increase your aggression as Rein and use comms more! We had no way of winning King's Row cause we didn't push at the choke after first point. A good way to get better is to watch videos of yourself playing...I've paid for coaching in that game and I will play almost any character the team requires but still in ELO hell because the game is straight up roulette in the spawn room as to whether you'll get a reasonable team/thrower/someone tilting.

I played my first game in two months; friendly challenge. I played miracle vs. evolve shaman. That deck is still super annoying to play against.

goddamn most streams i put on have the streamer playing jade druid. I can't imagine thinking that people would want to watch that. Have to stick to the 2-3 that are good.

djz's post inspired me to make lists that have 2 fledglings, scalebanes, and bonemares, and i clicked auto fill for the rest. did druid so far and went 4-1 at rank 3.

next month maybe I'll climb to 5 using these lists, it's pretty funny. I definitely have been getting emoted when I play **** like friendly bartender.
