I rolled it up and even blew 1600 dust on prince like an idiot. Seems the best counter is for you to simply not draw prince. In 9 games I've yet to see him. Good times. Back to TESL.

My experience is that pre-turn 6 hunter board is really tough to contest. I think Zombeast mid to late game value is great, the combos of minions you can get are crazy.

Miracle rogue is indeed viable, I hit legend with it today. I played it exclusively this month. Was DK Valeera/Vanish/Sprint pre-nerfs, post nerfs a standard gadgetzan miracle list. Feasted on druids, winrate of 70% vs them.

I reckon I just suck then. My next win with it will be my first. Last game I played (10th) I actually drew prince on T2 and got my paladin opponent down to 4 health before he played his DK and won easily by continually drawing Tarim.

They need a rent a card option for 24 hours. What amount of dust would make sense to borrow a legendary for a day?

I'd be willing to burn 400 nonrefundable dust for a week. That's without putting much thought into it though.

This meta is really fun. I cannot even believe how the war axe nerf blew the doors wide open on all these other aggro decks. Rogue is the top performing deck by far right now, I know it before I even look at the meta report. HSreplay has it at 61%. The deck is super fun and high skill cap for an aggro deck.

I don't think anyone really saw this coming. I think zoolock is probably viable now too.

The war axe being 3 mana clearly costs now, as when I have it and the opponent takes the board somewhat while I am waiting to get to 3-mana, is the clearest example I have experienced.

I still have it for casual use, although I was thinking about making it an enraged warrior, but I feel too unsure, as I have never seen one being popular, although it has a good shot for that, with many self damage possibilities.

As a counter, I changed all my character to 5-mana max face character; not a big change, but having some fun now.

Aggro Rogue seems to be the new aggro king with the prince (1/1 to all minions in deck), but is a bit weird and costly. Prince is a neutral card, and one gets lucky and gets it early sometimes.

Hunters are up, even some face hunter (used to be clearly worse). Murloc paladin hasn't changed significantly, being playable.

It just is that the most pro decks are evolve shaman, sometimes handlock, highlander priest, jade druid. And not some aggro decks like murlocs (maybe with heavy paladins, although the light/aggro paladin, murloc paladin stays respectable, but then so does hunter), beasts, or even pirates these days (taunts, and now the likely lose axe, needing to think about the warrior option).

This round of nerfs have been good. It has reinvigorated a stale meta. Nice to see lots of different archetypes being played.
If only blizz were this quick always with nerfs.

Metastats has got 170k+ post druid patch games now, evolve shaman looks like the best archetype on relatively big sample sizes. Hunter a close second. Two fairly different jade lists in the top 7 individual decks though, so likely still going to be one of the best/better decks once its refined.

Aggro rogue looking p strong though too.

I still haven't played since the nerfs since I'm doing well at ESL but it seems cool. Rogue has been split between wanting to play aggro (think STB days) and control (Vilespines, Shadowblades) but in a meta without PW, aggro rogue can out tempo you in so many ways.

rogue is insane. i'm playing the elemental version, I like it the best. keleseth -> shadowstep -> keleseth is so aids.

still havent played aggro pally because i look at the list and i dont understand how it wins

Must say im surprised how much the innervate nerf hurt druid. I think losing the ability to get to infestation on turn 5/6 & to infestation, innervate, wrath on 10 is the big culprit. The spreading plague nerf is whatever IMO, I don't think its made the least bit of difference.

having pirate warrior leave the meta is the absolute best thing that could have happened

it was one of the rare aggro decks that could beat you without sticking a single minion - old aggro shaman is the other one that comes to mind

decks like that just should not exist; the current version of rogue/hunter is as fast as decks should be - they need to control the board in order to kill you

^^ agree with both those posts. Spreading Plague is just a busted mechanic. Should be capped at like 3 minions or smth.

And, yeah, aggro decks should have to stick to the board to kill you. Getting hit and run by minion after minion is not fun or interactive.

I agree. 6 stats for 2 mana and taunt. The priest 2 drop from TGT was a 2/4 with taunt on the condition you had a dragon. This is just straight up better+you can choose to make a 1/2 poisonous if you want.

Plague tokens should def be 1/4. I'm ok with the 2 mana card being 1/5, 1/4 would prob see 0 play.
