I forgot how much of a grind ladder was without extra stars. I've gone 35-3 since the expansion and am still gold 8.

I'll bet you would make legend if you can keep that up to go 150-15.

I'm playing a bad deck in the muck of trash decks in low rank wild. I will probably start losing when i face real decks.

Man constructed is just a miserable experience right now. Playing against odd quest hunter in wild and they didn't play a minion nor interact with my board and I was dead turn 6. They just aimed burn at my face. What's even the point of playing this game anymore? I'm just a participant in someone elses solitaire experience. Not the game I fell in love with years ago.

Some of the experiences in this game can fall short of being fun for both parties involved.

It's like there is only so much fun to go around. Both players can get 50% of the fun, which I am sure is the goal. When we throw out terms like "fun & interactive" it's usually because one person is having 90% of the fun, and the other person can sit there and try to enjoy some of the last 10%, or just do something else.

This game is in the worst state I've ever known it to be.
All the meta decks are horrible to play against and if you try to play anything else you might as well insta concede once you know your playing against a meta deck.
They need to print cards that push quests back or destroy them because right now there's no downside and no counter to playing a quest.
Its all Face Quest or OTK. I know people whine about long control games but take away control and this non interactive garbage takes over.

Arenas got about 5 cards in it that instantly win the game to and they need to be banned if its going to be fun.

All of a sudden I'm facing almost nothing but Rogues with that card that hides their class. Which almost defeats the purpose of it lol.

Standard seems somewhat playable since the nerfs but just barely. Gave Duels a try but seems like it's in even a worse state right now. Maybe I'll give Mercenaries a shot.

There's a minion that gets discounted when you add cards to your hand from another class.

Rogue cards count towards this condition if you start the game as a "Mage", or a Rogue in Mage's clothing.

So you could, for example, play Secret Passage on 1, and then play a 4/5 Wildpaw Gnoll with Rush. That's a good turn 1 play even in today's standard.

yeah I just got back into HS 2 days ago after a year off and started playing Maestra thief rogue, fun deck 70% wr to legend very fast. had a few people insta concede bc they ****ed up their mulls most likely when rogue was revealed.

got I hated Roguestone, I also hate the fact that i'm probably the only person to suck with the spoof deck.

glad we're getting nerfs. big news with BG, they're getting buddies for all the heroes. maybe it'll even things out a bit.

I made it to Legend in Ranked Classic. At first I played mostly Handlock, later on I switched to Control Warrior. Diamond 4 and 3 were rough, after that it went surprisingly fast.

I don't really enjoy Standard anymore. All the discovers, draws and discounts are too much for me. I guess I'm getting old.

I've been spending a lot of time lately with the Mercenaries solo mode and it's surprisingly fun. It takes awhile to get the hang of it but once you do it's very addictive, with a sort of adventure/RPG feel to it combined with the familiar HS characters.

Going to try PvP eventually though I've heard the matchmaking isn't very well-implemented.

Constructed sucks right now. It's Druid, Druid, Druid, and maybe Shaman. 20% other classes, but mainly Druid, or Druid, or possibly Shaman, but probably Druid.

Constructed has gotten really stale and I can barely stand to play it. The only fun I've had with it recently was with a total meme DH deck with Lady Prestor that gives you infinite HP if you draw the right dragon. Which I did twice and won games I had no right to win. I don't normally like playing combo/meme decks but it was good for a laugh.

I have great hopes for the expansion though, it looks like there's some cool stuff in there and the Dredge keyword has some interesting possibilities.

I'm pretty sure I did the same thing in Overwatch 1 in that I have a ton of boxes or whatever they were that were unopened. But they all insta open if you play OW2.

yeah it was a new game mode they made a big deal out of a couple years ago, i think it's been a complete dud, but I've never really played.
