Just played against an arena deck that had shredders and avenge. This dude must have sat on this run for like 8 months. What the ****

Only since February actually.

First ungoro run, 12-2 druid. Had Elise, and actually getting to play the pack is so much value it's impossible to lose.

I was at 30 and had a 2/4 taunt out going into my turn 5. Opponent had two 2/4 taunts. I played Bittertide Hydra. My opponent cast VOLCANO and it hit my hydra seven times. I was then at 7 with an 8/1 hydra which they pings the next turn with some guy that has battlecry deal 1.


Somehow won. This set is so fun and goofy.

Apparently I sap'd this Harvest Golem so hard it tilted!



After I used Living Mana he cast Spikeridged Steed on his Golem basically forcing me to trade everything in, and since you get back empty mana crystals it would be rather advantageous for him. Instead I topdecked Sap, glorious Sap.

So Vicious Fledgling seems like the new arena MVP, right? I just had a 10-3 Paladin run, and I think VF carried maybe 7 of the games for one side or another. I dropped it on curve and had a 7-4, windfury, cant be attacked by spells, drops two 1-1s by turn 6...

Just went 0-3 with this trash tier priest deck:



I now have 5 wins in my first 3 arenas. I'm literally the worst player in the entire world since this expansion dropped. 0-2 game was a classic. My opponent had a trash tier deck featuring the 8/2 stealth guy, thrallmar farseer, goldshire footman and also doom/TN and and enforcer. LUL.

but not enough mana to cast it because of Living Mana. Also it would drop the 2/6 Stegadon which is stlil annoying.

I can't even comprehend this anymore. Just went 1-3. Lost to a priest who played mind games on 4 to get primodial drake (by far the biggest minion in my deck). I respond with the 1/2 poisonous and he owls(LOL) and has a circle of healing so I can never kill it after he clears off my 4/4 ogre dude.

Next game my opponent innervate + coins out the 5/4 adapt and gives it windfury. I drop a hired gun and he has DOUBLE earthen scales to gain 13 armor and clear. Then has mark of the wild next turn. Standard 1-2 game.

I went 1-3 in each of my first 2 runs so good chance that I'm actually even worse than you.

I feel like Bomb Squad wins me so many games in arena I'm tempted to use it on ladder.

It's a great arena card. I've finally come to grips/understand the gap though - in arena you face so few truly aggro decks that any card that trades life for a resource is a positive. this is not the case in constructed. so in constructed that card is legit **** against half the decks.

Removal is also much harder to come by in the arena. Why would you run it if you can just run hex or swipe or what ever.
In the arena you are just glad to have a card that can deal with a 5 health minion at all.

Deck didn't seem that great while drafting but I guess it's just solid all around? Reward was pretty good too, 490 gold and an Un'Goro pack. Tortollan Primalist didn't do anything for me, Mana Bind was surprisingly useful, Volcanosaur too.

First Un'Goro 12 run. Pretty sweet deck, Stonehill and Servant of Kalimos did a lot of work finding late game value. Was able to consistently chain the elemental cards too, which helps.

Rewards were BS, 240 gold, UG pack and a golden common.

My arena avg. has been 9.5 over 10 runs since the xpac hit!

Edit: Think I actually played your deck on the way to 12 Derwipok, or something very similar anyway!

It's possible that we played but I don't remember seeing your deck. The only Paladin encounter I recall was one where I oozed the new 7 mana recruit spawning weapon.

Just lost a game at 8-1 where I have Bittertide Hydra, the 2-4 taunt elemental and a 3-3. Villain has 4hp and is dead next turn barring board clear and taunt up. Even then, I'm Mage and have a few burn spells I can top deck. He has taunt totem and heal totem on board and plays Volcano, which proceeds to hit my Hydra 8 times for exact lethal.

arena is so wacky now. im kind of loving the new meta. rogue is awesome and mage tilts the hell out of me.

Not sure if this is the good thread, but I'll give it a shot. Been away from the game almost 1 year so my collection is lacking a lot of the current card. Figured best thing to do with my 2200 gold pieces would be to grind arena. I only managed one 12 wins run long time ago, would anyone be willing to teach me the new meta and arena mechanics?

How the **** is it possible to get 150 and a common for 7 wins? God damn.

Missing cards are Polluted Hoarder, Doppleganster, Stormpike Commando, Sunkeeper Tarim, Bog creeper, Grimestreet Protector, Vine Cleaver, Giant Mastodon and Sea Giant.

MVP Sunkeeper Tarim won so many games for me either as a board clear or a big lethal buff. Game ten was vs a priest who had been suspiciously holding on to one card, my hand was a couple of one drop and some spells and Giant Mastodon which in the end I had to play. The card he'd been holding was Mind Control which screwed me completely, two turns later I top decked Sunkeeper which won me the game.

The game I lost was the first one to a warlock. I drew badly but I also made at least one misplay.

Game twelve was interesting I won against a priest who made a horrible decision to kill a 1/1 with a 1/4 buffed egg and silence a 6/1 down to a 2/1. If he'd of run the egg into the 6/1 he'd of had a 5/5 on board and id of been 1 shy of lethal. As it was i had to get lucky and have my Demolisher hit face rather then one of his three minions.

Rewards were terrible 245 g 2 packs and a gold card.

nope, turns out that having that much removal means that you only lose against aggro decks that are able to put enough face damage on you before you start removing every minion they have







500 gold plus a pack seems pretty decent reward-wise
