Just fell at the last hurdle with a Shaman deck it would have been my first 12 win Shaman but two Abyssal enforcers turned the game around.

perhaps to no one's surprise, mage is even more broken.

+Grime street enforcer, Kaldire Raider, Ancient Harbinger, Argent Commander, Avenging Wrath, Nerubian Prophet, Sideshow Spelleater, Stormwind Champion.

I had no great hopes for it as it was lacking card draw, AOE and large removal but it kept on doing enough and I even golden monkeyed my way to one victory. The two losses were to better Paladin decks.

This new arena is like an entirely different mode. It'll be interesting after the rotation. It's very obvious that certain classes benefited way more than others, particularly mage and shaman, but a decent counter to those control type of value decks seems to be the hand buffing paladin and warrior decks.

Its standard only now and they changed the pick rates.

In 8 runs I've had 11 legendaries.

spells are way up. epics are at 700%, or maybe 750%, can't remember. One of those. Which is weird because epics are mostly complete garbage.

There are major ramifications here, but I don't think this will be solved for a while. There's a lot going on just in the pick process beyond picking the highest value card, much less how you're supposed to play in an actual game.

I'm not sure if this is good for arena or not but it sets a really bizarre precedent that I'm not completely positive they'll be able to maintain to a positive effect over time. We'll see what happens. It would be cool to see this become an actual competitive mode.

I've begun watching kripp streams but have to mute the audio. He's off the charts annoying and whiny, don't know how anyone can tolerate him. He criticizes other people's play a lot and imo makes glaring mistakes quite frequently. in legend ladder he'd be completely average to below average. he's totally the Phil Hellmuth of hearthstone.

I think the changes to Epic rarity and the mean streets occurrence bonus mean Priest and Warlock improve the most Mage a bit less and Paladin and Druid are hurt the most.

Priest gets Dragonfire potion, Warlock gets Kabal trafficker, Mage gets Greater arcane missiles. While Paladin gets meanstreet marshal 1/2 one drop that needs buffing to be worth drafting and Small time recruits card draw for agro decks only. Druid does even worse Lunar Vision, anti tempo card draw and Pilfered Power anti tempo ramp.

mage gets that 0 mana removal card too, and pyro isn't that bad in arena anymore

im currently very confused by arena. i think tier scores are currently way off.

Without a decent sample size it's so hard to say. My only 12 win deck so far was a Warlock that went 2-2 to 12-2. Was I lucky or is Warlock good both?

I thought Priest was pretty good now, but I'm 13-1 vs them.

The only thing I'm sure of is that people still pick Mage more than anything else.

Can't wait for someone with a decent data set to post winrates of each class.

I'm basing this on a very limited sample size but if they were going to increase the drop rate for spells they could have increased the drop rate for warrior weapons. Seams a bit out of whack.

First arena since the patch started with 4 rares in a row and then 3 picks later back to back legendaries:

Illidan, Brann or Sally and then Patches, Justicar or KRAGG. Lols.

Edit: Got Prince malch on my last pick too and 2 manic soulcasters. This is going to be fun.
