Asking Arena expert:
I've only been playing Arena the last 2 weeks so I don't really know the meta and the way to play (I think I play too aggressively), also a lot of "new" cards for me.
Not shown: Kodorider, Flamestrike, Stormwind Champion, North Sea Kraken
Do you think this deck should have been easy 12?
There isn't such a thing as an easy 12 win deck. This deck certainly has the potential to go 12 but the arena has too much variance to predict exact results. It will usually go 7+, a lot of the time 10+ and sometimes 12
Welp, this deck was really good but I still got super lucky to hit 12 again. Started out 2-2 and then ripped off 10 in a row. Top decked consecrate vs a board of 6 minions with 2 HP or less when opponent went YOLO face in the game that got my 11th win. I set him to 1 HP after that he was able to stabilize and put up a taunt and I drew the second cons. I only got to play onyxia once, but it won that game and rafaam was really good with silent knight. Twice I was able to keep it in stealth and then buff it + silence a taunt for lethal. Overall MVPs were cons, seal of champs and mini bot (shocker).
12, 9, 5 and 12 again since drafting my "worst deck ever."
PS - **** mad bomber and madder bomber. Every time I had them in hand they either ****ed me when, and in fact lost me both my games, or I was ahead and/or in a spot where it was better to not play it.
Just drafted a deck with Sylvainas Windrunner in. Played 11 games (8-3) and didn't have the card in my hand once throughout, except for mulliganing it away twice. A few of the games went long past T10 also. Pretty unbelievable.
Immediately back to normal. 2 wins with insane rogue deck.
Play madder bomber when my opponent has a 3/2 and I have a 3/5. 4 hit the 3/5 2 to my face.... Have to trade. He saps it. Hit his face 0 times and doesn't kill anything on board. Have to take a 50/50 oil since I'm one off and I lose. Doubt I'm ever drafting any bomber again.
Man I just drafted the worst mage I have ever drafted. No fireballs, frostbolts, flamestrikes. Janky minions. Managed 1 win so far. Oh, and my epic pic I had to settle for that guy who gives you a minion because the others were terrible.
Finished 2-3 with previously mentioned mage deck. I both love and hate arena. I know I have some learning to do with overall drafting. But that's like the 2nd or 3rd in a week that I was offered a bunch of hot garbage on a plate from pick 1 to 30 lol.
some from the last few days
gameplan : get assassin's blade, hit face and assassinate their big minions
such a ridiculous deck
fire ellys pretty good
this one was a lot of fun. made it my goal to finish with jaraxxus whenever possible and managed to do so 7 times throughout the run. discovered hobgoblin to win with hobgoblin->elven archer+creeper+voidwalker in one of them games
lots of cycle/ping/discover options
edit : looks like double toad is the key to 12-1 runs

I ragequit Hearthstone right around when Goblins vs Gnomes came out. I wanted to not suck at arena, but we don't always get what we want. I cut myself off after dropping 12 bucks one night rebuying into Arena and getting shat on.
Installed again last night after seeing some hype online about this new expansion, did the quests to get 150 gold and went right into the arena. I had to pick between Druid, Warrior, and Hunter. Picked Druid, built what I thought was a pretty solid deck with a nice curve, using some card ranking thing online to help, but went L L W L 1-3. I found myself playing with an empty hand a lot. Losses were to a Shaman with seemingly endless amounts of board clearing bull****, an absolute ****show against a paladin, and finally a rogue who just danced circles around me with more Eviscerates than any one person should be allowed to have.
I watched enough Trump back in the day to understand trying not to waste mana while also making sure you draft more than just endless 2 drops, but what do you mean by "Play to curve"?
Play the Chillwind Yeti on 4 instead of two 3/2s? That certainly could be part of my problem. If it's turn 6 and I have a 5/4/2 drop in my hand, in a vacuum I'm more likely to play the 4/2 or the 4 and hero power than to play the 5 and "waste" mana.
Also there is a lot of variance in arena. You can get a sick deck but run into other sick decks with better curve, you can get an ok deck and curve out every game against weak decks and get 12

playing to curve literally means it is almost always correct to develop a minion if it costs your entire mana crystals rather than make a substandard turn even if it means clearing your opponents board
so often it's tempting to just keep their board empty but its typically wrong
Wotog Meta - Arena currently infested by Mage cancer ...
took 3 runs to get my first 12er. not sure if ive ever had a 12 win mage without flamestrike before but pretty easy run with just one or two close games.
polymorph mvp, the 5 mana annoy tron mvp, the 8 mana 6/10 was solid
dont remember all the cards not shown but had nsk, sw champion, nerubian prophet and sunwalker
