Wow how did you go 12-0 with that deck? It's very solid, but isn't too great IMO, very impressed.

67% win rate over 91 arenas since jan 1. mage is my highest at 74%. warlock at warrior lowest at just under 50 although i rarely play them in arena

It had a lot of strong minions and plenty of good 1 drops. Ran a bit good too I think, but really strong deck imo. Warlock is really strong in arena and imp gang boss made it even better.

It appears aggro decks do really well in arena. If your opponent misses a drop or doesn't have good board clear, you usually win. What's your guys's thoughts on aggro decks in arena? I usually struggle with aggro decks in both constructed and arena.

it's hard to go into a draft and create a specific type, i think. you have to (unfortunately?) let the early picks set the tone

you are kind of correct. the arena meta has become way more aggressive. 1 drops went up in value siginificantly and you can absolutely not miss an early drop.
in my expirience if your goal is 7 wins to at least break even on gold an aggro deck is pretty good at that but it will rarely go 12 unless its really insane. somewheer aroun 8 to 10 wins you start running into good players with good mage and pally decks and they will ususally just destroy you. you just run out of steam after they cleared your board a few times and healed up.

although mage is a overpowered for sure i dont think the power level of most classes is that far apart. priest rogue and hunter and warlock are pretty damn good in th earena too.
the only class that really ****ty is warrior and i ddint have a lot of succes with shaman lately but it used to be extremely strong so maybe its me not sure whats going on there and than that dude from heartharena adwcta or what ever he calls himself always said warrior is his best class in the arena, so what do i know.

i think it mainly feels like mage is so extremely op becuase people got told over and over again how op it is and know everybody picks it.
among all the drafts some are bound to be insane and since everybody picks mage and pally the insane drafts are likely to be mage or pally too.
also mage is just so easy to play that it just bothers on to be beaten by it. if someone does something wonderfully degenerate with rogue like coining tinkeroil on his worgen sapping my taunt and throwing in a cold blood in for good measure. i am like that was a fine play sir you set that up marvelously i tip my hat to you.
while if you play against mage you loose to lsme **** like 2 frostbolts in the opening hand or back to back flamstrikes or blizzard into flamestrike. just lame ****.

yeah well dude i am sorry you got ran over by grimm patrons that one game but the grim patron is really not good in the arena the thing is if you can not clear a 3 health minnion on turn 5 thats the problem right there and not the patron.

Played 5 straight games against mage in arena. I run really bad. I taunted my War Golem and one of the mages had Dark Knight, obv lost the game after that. 1-4 against 5 straight mages 4 of those I was a mage too and had a strong deck but no FlameStrike and just ran bad. FML

Ha, guy had 3 health left, full board and fatal on me next turn and I top deck Hammer of Wrath to win.

ended up 12-1, should have gone 12-0 but i didn't play around a flamestrike turn 6 because i forgot he still had coin.

just a solid tempo deck, didn't need any late game

got a pack, ~270ish gold, trade prince gallywix and a golden siphon soul as rewards

I love it when I get to proc my Stampeding Kodos. It's even better when it's on Shade of Naxxramas

pretty disgusting arena game against a warrior. he pulled out a grim patron, deaths bite, whirlwind combo

and a screwjank clunker/mech combo on me

MCT is the most broken card in arena. If I ever have 4 minions, I get one stolen. Spectators can attest to this, I'm not sure if its a glitch in the coding or whatnot but without fail it happens.

Just beat an arena deck that had Onyxia, Toshley, and Loatheb. 3 legendaries, how lucky do these people get? I've played over 500 arenas and I think maybe once I had 2 legendaries.

I'm excited about this shaman draft with 4x Fire Ele + Feugen + Stalagg. Everything else is pretty pedestrian, but the curve is pretty good

I think the only classes I haven't gone 12 with now are Rogue (where I've gotten 11 a few times) and Shaman (where I haven't really been that close). Still chasing any 12-0 though.

12 win warrior is like the ultimate challenge

Warrior was my first or second 12 ever somehow, my deck was pretty insane though iirc. It was also pre-GvG, so it did a lot better in that arena "meta"

Just got a 12 win paladin arena. Only got 305 gold (wtf...). Technically had 2 losses, but 1 of them was a DC. Other was very early on against one of the sickest arena decks ever. Or maybe just luckiest hand? (Druid who had Rag out on turn 4)



One of my opening hands was 3x Guardian of Kings. lol.

More I play arena, the less I care about curve. Just take the strongest cards. My 4 slot just rocked, even though I was a little dry in the early game. 3x consecrate helps tho!

Sick deck, 3 true silvers, 3 consecrates, lots of great cards ie. spider tank, harvest golem, defender of argus, azure drake.

Wow Volcanic lumberer is so sick in arena. Worst case its basically an ironbark best case it can be a huge tempo swing.

Had a 1 win arena in between earlier today, but I'd like to forget about that
