I had an 0-3 over the weekend with what I thought was a solid Rogue deck.

I have too but I still feel like I get aced too much with bad decks and don't push far enough with good ones. Over the weekend I had 3x 7s in a row with decks I felt should go farther. Then drafted 4 dumpster fires in a row ended up with 1, 2, 3 and 6 wins over my next 4.

This seems to be my trend honestly...have a few good ones in a row where I feel like I get it and then just crap out multiple in a row and feel terrible. Obviously some variance and some playing like a dumbass factors in, but I still can't grasp my actual skill level yet. I think I'm averaging right under 6 wins over about 60 runs.

Ratsmah is great. He's probably the person who has influenced my arena play/drafting the most, and helped me get to ~infinite.

I watch Ratsmah as well and I think he is definitely one the best arena streamers. He always thinks through plays and sees plays I wouldn't even have seen myself before I started watching. I have learned so much from his play and drafting. Never had a 12win deck before watching him. And now I've had 3 within the last week. I still have plenty to learn and I think my biggest weakness is my drafting.

Can anyone help me on the number of 1/2/3/4 drops you should be shooting for? I just try to copy what Ratsmah does but he hasn't explained thoroughly exactly what he's aiming for when drafting. I think it varies class by class. I usually tend to draft a mid-range deck.

Just got this amazing draft and now I'm too afraid to play it because I'm sure I'll *** it up somehow. There might be some struggling in the early game but If i don't beat my current record which is 8 wins I must suck pretty bad,right?

2nd 12 win run for me, thanks to Go Get It for the sweat during a few of the games. Flamestrike was easily the MVP, Hogger got in some good value, but is pretty weak to mages and their damn flamestrikes. Wee Spellstopper rode the bench for most of the games. 0 fireballs and polymorphs

Was fun to watch. Felt like I was bad luck that one game but came back for #12 and was a fun game to watch.

In good news, I've gone from like 2.5 wins per run to about 4 or slightly more in the last two weeks. I tied my record at 6 the other night, immediately created a new arena and ripped off 8 wins.

On a scale of absurd to ridiculous, how good is this priest deck?

Got it to 9-0 then lost 3 in a row. Guess I'll never get to twelve if i couldn't do it with this one. Just kept getting my ass whopped against rushy decks.

Priest deck is ridiculous. I know if I ran into that deck, I'd be rather disappointed. Facing a good priest deck in arena is more frustrating than playing your 3rd mage in a row.

Keep in mind there is a lot of variance in arena. Great decks get beat all the time, and sometimes a mediocre deck can go the distance. 9-3 is certainly not bad, so just keep at it.

I also just found out the Hearthstone Deck Tracker has a plugin that can detect your arena draft choices while you're drafting. Quite useful obv for tracking purposes.

at this point i hate playing priests in arena more than mage, especially on a deep run. theres a lot of times turn 3 you sit there and think i hope he doesn't velen's chosen right here or im wrecked

yah velens chosen is prob the most imbalanced arena card in the game

when they go cleric coin velens your chances of winning are like less than 3%

Yea...I had three of them on a juggler. Also lived the Mr.Bitey dream with 2x velen's + PW:S on it. Cabal is also stupid OP in arena. Kodo is a big enough swing but Cabal just destroys you every time.

Had a mage deck with 3 frostbolts, a cone of cold, and a frost elemental. My opponent was a priest who played venture co on turn 6. It was still there when I won on turn 11, and it never got to attack. I feel dirty.

I was 8-2 yesterday with a priest when I ran into a warlock who I got down to 13hp, when I was at ~30. He proceeded to tap, molten giant, mech yeti, sunfury. after clearing his board 2 turns later (after his 3rd dread infernal), he dropped jaraxxus. Played void caller. Used sac pact to gain 5hp, and put out his 4th dread infernal. while hero powering. No happy ending with this story.

Been a while since I've had my sounds on. Does he say something stupid upon summon?

Not sure, but he's a lock to do whatever you dont want him to do
