12 win arena today with mage. I drafted alone but played w/ ftl. There was a moment when I was 4-2 or so because the early game is quite weak, but on the whole, just a super OP deck. 4 fireballs, 3 flamestrikes, cairne? lol. Rewards sucked though - 330 gold.

How likely is it to get paired into an arena match, swap your initial cards, and then have your opponent concede before any cards are played?

I'm a noob and it just happened and I'm curious about how rare/lucky this is.

It's pretty rare for arena due to the format. Conceding early and getting that 1 loss can pretty severely hamper your run. Nice to be on the flip side though and get the easy win!

whats the play? Hero's draft is demon centric with a bunch of dread infernals. no aoe, light on other removal. a tiny bit of burst with POs.

12 win with warlock. Only class with no 12 win is warrior, and frankly, thats not gonna happen.

rewards sucked. 2 packs and like 240 gold. ugh.

Played it with prevaricator and ftl* they were very very helpful, one game i spent the entire time brewing tea and playing turns in 5 seconds so got pretty lucky on that one

Just had my first 11 and all I got was 195 gold, 85 dust, a pack, and a golden Youthful Brewmaster. That's gotta be on the low end right?

Another 12 win run with Bobbo (we must have ~10 together this month alone, his suggestions have been spot on usually, helps a lot that we usually agree on the same play

. Hard to find a better paladin player than him!) and prevaricator (who was very helpful too), we went 12 12 and 8 or 9 was pretty fun

was 2-2 after 4 games

Assuming the weapon is axe and not powermace you can afford to be slow. Siphon Soul isn't as good as it looks. The reason to play it is to go face, but then you automatically lose the board next turn. You actually lose quite a lot of the time doing that because of the likelihood of taunt totems + any fire elementals or hexes he topdecks. It might be the most -EV decision you can make this game.

If the weapon were powermace killing the soon to be 3/4 is much more worthwhile.
