Had a really good 9-1 run with Priest going last night, but didn't realise arena runs would expire when the Halloween Festival started

Oh well, looking forward to trying out the combo arena thing. I was hoping it would be a full time, seperate game mode though.

made a pretty insane rogue+tap deck.

non-fillers:

2 preps, soulfire, defile, drain soul, jade shuriken, 2 fan of knives, blastcrystal pot, hellfire, shadowflame, assassinate, eth peddler, hogger, siphon soul, bog creeper, valeera DK.

second loss guy played 6 jade cards (including a journey below'd aya) in 9 turns, as shaman/rogue

*1-3 lol

but checkout this priest druid deck holy ****ing christ what did ijust make

beat: malchezar gonna dilute the deck, was first legendary picked with two awful choices

basically if i get wild growth in first 3 turns i shouldnt lose?

eaaaasy 12 wins with that holy crap.

One game I lost because I got hadronox from free from amber, thinking it would resurect the ancient of war I mind controlled once hadronox died.

Apparently, that does not work.

I also had an INSAAAAAAAAANE game where my deck of 40+ cards almost ran out, while other guy fatigued.

what happened is he used two devour minds, he got raza from near the bottom of my deck (that was created from my malchezaar), and then he got MY malfurion DK. So he had free dk power ups for literally 10+ turns.

I did mage with rogue hero power and got destroyed by a hunter with UI.

My deck ended up as basically all removal, lol

This was a nice run, a lot of blow outs. Malfurion carried a lot of games.

Lost one game to a paladin who had 4 life, a 5/4 and a 1/2 with a rallying blade I had a stegodon and 15 life, i lost to equality -> dinosize lol.

edit: got 395 gold and 2 packs so not bad rewards

Paladin hunter has been great for me. You can draft both a super aggro deck or a tempo deck that let's you hero power them to death even if it takes like 8 turns.

Sidenote the decks that have completely failed me are the ones where I draft the normally great cards which are usually spells and you wind up not having minions to play on a bunch of turns.

Spikeridge Consecration Swipe is not a good hand.

Yeah I tried to play it. Drafted an ok deck the first time then retired a bad one at 0-0 and then another bad one went 1-3.

i just drafted the dirtiest warlock mage. Featuring Kazakus and Jaina. Had the option of picking a second kazakus too, but picked Jaina. Incoming 0-3.

1st 12 win in the Halloween mode

haven't played much since they changed the drop rates for legendaries so I might be wrong but the variance in deck quality seems much higher now.

i went 9-3

one loss jaina and kazakus were in my last 4 cards, opponent got jaina off glimmeroot

one loss jaina and kazakus were in my last 8 cards, would have had lethal but for gnomeferatu taking my fireball

one loss opponent drakonid operatived my kazakus and got ysera from bone drake which he used to dream kazakus. kazakus was in my last 2 cards.

i hate this game.

Final got a 12 winner with a day remaining of duel class arena.

Didn't think it was that great when I drafted it but the combination of Radiant elementals and spells let me tempo out a lot and the silence and mind control won a few control match ups. Lost to a Mage/Priest who played booth classes death knight and a Druid/Hunter who rushed me down.
The last game was a mirror match and I was ahead until he played Priest Death Knight then it was close but he had infinite value and I had no burst top decked Blazecaller for exact lethal probably would have lost if i didn't.
