That's almost the exact list I was using (basically one of Trumps iterations) and went on a crazy heater going like 23-4 down to rank 1 3 stars. I was running 2 argus one chow otherwise the same.

I was just gonna ride it out to legend, then I just started on a bad RNG streak losing games on super annoying things got frustrated switched decks and dropped and lost motivation started playing shaman and running like 50%.

Justicar basically solo's Control warrior, so insane in that match. Liked the Jousters cause they worked almost always in fast matchups and were better against others cause the 5/5 body can kill emperor and other things that show up around then.

yeah i go back and forth on Tuskarr...Sometimes the lack of 100% guaranteed heal can give you anxiety when you're looking to stabilize. Obviously when it hits, it's amazing!

Mukla's Champion still being a good card in my midrange pally lists. I feel like nobody is even trying him in lists because they heard him called bad.

Here's the interesting thing: By the time he comes down, the other guy is normally out of hard removal. It isn't to say that he's a better turn 7 play than Boom, but more that he's just another good play. You can only run 1x dr boom 1x Tirion. Building a deck that is full of must-kill minions like murloc knight makes the slower lists just run out of answers. It's really interesting.

After tanking with Dragon pally last night, I decided to give his list a whirl while he spectated me. It's super strong and surprisingly consistent.

Here is the list:

Overall the deck seems really solid vs what I'm facing. 5-1 in my quick sample with a loss to zoo and only because he hit illidan off bane of doom after dropping boom the turn before. I didn't even miss BGH vs control warrior, as Justicar tokens just ground out the game with ease.

Beast Druid is actually doing pretty dang good for me, at least in the semi-slum ranks (10-15). Druid beasts are pretty meaty so once you get a few down they are hard to remove, and Savage Combatant basically gives you a Fiery War Axe the whole time he's on board.

Probably not be viable once you start talking higher ranks, competitive decks though.

Is this a joke? I'm like 1-5 with it and all the losses I've been completely useless with literally no plays I can possibly make at any point in the 7 turns it takes to lose.

Brand new deck i just lost to:

Basically played mill until this turn, then played Aviana (8 mana, 1 less from earlier Emperor), Malygos (1 mana), Faceless Malygos (1 mana) 2x Moonfires for 11 damage each

Just realized if he had saved Living Root (reduced by emperor) that would've been a 30->0 in one turn

It's a 6/6 for 6 in the worst case scenario.
I was watching Strifecro's latest video, and he says that, if you pull 2-3 secrets, it's better than Dr. Boom.

Strifecro knows what's up!
You also increase your chances of drawing into your better cards in the next turns.
If you ask me, both cards need a nerf.

Yes, but you have to put bad cards in your deck that you often draw.

midrange/totem shaman but it doesn't beat anything else, handlock but it's sort of a tough time on the ladder for handlock. I'd bet rogue wrecks it as well, rogue is probably pretty strong right now in general even without any tgt love.

I played Oil last night and was getting **** on by tons of decks. Too many consistent curves to T1 pass T2 dagger.

The problem with this thinking (and what Ive seen in general, and have been guilty of myself) is everything is viewed in a vacuum. For mysterious challenger to be better, (and I agree, it is in that case!) like 15%+ of your entire deck has to be weakened. So yeah the card is boss in some situations but overall doesn't make it better.

As far as oil vs the new priest, they curve out well enough now that you no longer have the free wins where they dont do anything for 4 turns and let you just sit back and dagger and draw and not waste damage. I'm not convinced rogue in the general form is favored vs dragon priest, they have more taunts, more plays, more overall power, some threats now, and still the same old clears.

I laddered a fair amount with Malygod and lost both games to Priest, and both games felt my back was against the wall the whole time having to kill really high health minions.

Anyone find a good TGT Midrange Hunter list? I'm close to my gold Hunter and I don't really want to play face.

Dragon priest is basically play the biggest possible minion without a drawback on turns 1 through 4. Buff and heal as necessary. It's a much better style than what it used to be, do nothing and clear repeatedly.

This one is a good starting point, and it has King's Elekk and Ram Wrangler if you want to include some TGT cards.

Dragon Priest basically seems (feels like playing against) the Deathrattle priest when it was pretty decent in the old UT heydays.

Good comparison, but the deathrattle priest had a bigger split of insane vs aggro and terrible vs control than this current dragon priest. Maybe it's because the meta is so unsettled but this deck seems to match up well vs other control decks.
