yeah, I had awkward moments with both cult master and divine favor. I figure any list running two chows is doing some trading and with everyone and their brother playing some sort of pally right now, divine favor had slightly worse results in my small sample size. murloc knight is absurd. also, noble sac guarantees a draw from cult master which is nice synergy.

noble sacrifice is awesome for so many reasons besides the card draw. The synergy it has with knife juggler, enabling favorable trades, saving you from aggro decks. It's just freaking wonderful

I had a couple reasons for including chow over say...argent squire. One, I wanted something that I can draw turn one that steamrolls the game. I want to control the board in the early turns and chow does that. With these secrets, especially competitive secret, you need a strong, sticky board to take most advantage of the deck.

Second reason for chow...I'm trying to run the gambit on my opponent. If they see argent squire, they are immediately going to think I'm aggro pally, and thus, divine favor loses it's power. I've testing it, and I like it...but again, I'm sure this list can get even better.

I really want to try it but crafting niche epics feels so bad. What to do?!

I tried a list very similar to this. Think I had Toshley for Loetheb, a 2nd Mirror Entity instead of the 2nd Effigy, and a second Arcane Missiles for Dr. Boom. I'll grant my changes are not optimal, but it didn't feel like a deck that would go > 50%.

My main takeaway was a deep frustration with the Spellslingers. Too many Call Pets and Ancestor's Call and the like. The one game I got Pyroblast, I could have won with the burn that was already in my hand. I suspect Clockwork Gnomes or Mechanical Yeti are better.

I also swore off Mirror Entity for awhile (before giving up on the deck entirely), since I was getting shafted by Flametongue Totems and Ancient Watchers and Nerubian Eggs more often than I was pulling a 3+ drop.

Guess I'll have to give it another spin.

I just came here to say how op that deck was for me. I don't usually play much constructed so it wasn't against good players but went from rank 9 to rank 5 with like 2 losses.

My last game I ended turn 3 with a sorcerer's apprentice on board against a shaman who went t1 chow t2 totem golem t3 totem golem

Xzirez is playing a similar list now and was approaching #1 legend...I think he's still top 100, but he was climbing from deep in the legend pits...

Deck is hard to play around right now..good time to run it.

Bah! I'm trying SECRETKEEPER pally since I don't have challengers yet and it's pretty hilarious. Just had this opener:
T1 drop secretkeeper
T2 drop keeper and noble sac
T3 drop mini bot + comp spirit
Turn 4 argent squire + divine favor and they auto scoop.

New undertaker meta kappa.

The deck list was a copy pasta from competitive HS.

i played this original list but only for like 5 games and didnt do to well but i am not much of a pally player or constructed player in general these days.
i often drew 2 screts early so the challenger if i ever drew it dint have that much of an impact even the best result i had i felled like boom would just have been better.
i was also looking for a way to play at least one true silver. i think thats the arena player in me i just cant wrap my head around noot playing truesilvers in paladin.
i will propably give it a nother run later tonight or tomorrow
do i have you on my friendlist?i would like to see you pilot the deck a bit. do you play on na or eu?

Play-tested with IamRobik last night, and there were some clunky aspects to the deck. So after spectating him some with the original list, and testing it out, I decided to lower the curve a bit...add card draw in Divine Favor, and took out Justicar, as she is too slow in this deck. I also added Defenders of Argus, Silver Hand Regent, Creepers for stickiness and an extra secret (having 6 secrets gives Challenger much more value).

The deck feels cleaner and still very competitive:

Yeah Don, that list you mention is my version 1.0. It's not as optimized as my list that I'm playing now (above) ...which is much stronger. Try the list above as its much more polished and consistent.

Is top 100 list from reddit with a slower curve. It's cool to see so much variation within the same archetype of deck.

nice list and normally my style. Although I can't imagine not playing Murloc Knight right now.
