It's a turn 8 play and like emperor will immediately die but it can really bring some value. Like emperor, if you can get it for 2 turns--the game is basically over.

Most warriors just play either sludge or the pirate taunts. And while getting additional durability is great--in the era of Harrison Jones--it seems like a poor weapon. 1 taunt you have a 2 damage, 4 durability weapon for 3 which isn't bad but it can be a liability.

Sacred Warrior doesn't seem too bad. It's a much stronger version of the very viable combos with lightwarden (light of the Naaru). Basically it can be a 6 mana, 5-5 with upside or better if you have light of the Naaru or circle of healing. I guess the one issue with 2 many heals it can get quickly in bgh range. So bringing it out as a 5-5 and then buffing it on your turn could be pretty viable.

If real, T6 emperor into T7 fizzlebang + tap + giant. How you say, is problem.

So far, pretty much every card that lets you cheat mana is good to great and sees a lot of play. This one seems no different.

Sacred warrior seems pretty good to me? Standard stats for a 4 drop with the potential to blow up into a monster really easily. Basically has taunt, because if you leave it on board and priest does some crazy circle and pyro play next turn, you're looking at a near OTK. I like it.

With respect to the picture that had a Paladin deck with a 7 mana card called Fordragon Blades, what about a weapon that read something like "If you kill a minion with this weapon, summon a copy of it on your side of the battlefield". That would fit with the Lich theme, raiding the fallen minions of your enemy. What would the stats have to be on that weapon to make it balanced? 4/1? 5/1? 3/2?

New expansion is obviously super exciting but I'm not really a fan of the jokey cartoonish grand tourney aesthetic. I'd prefer something a little more cool/serious.

Inspire is interesting though I'm worried it will go the way of the dragons if they don't release a ton of anti aggro cards. What we've seen so far all seems way too slow for the current meta. Good to see shaman getting a buff though. Totem shaman might be legit.

it's a good deal. i'm going to wait for amazon coins to have their deal though before i buy again. i've started to save up gold. if i can get 50 a day, I should have 2500 by the time it's released (did they announce a date?) i have 1100 gold already.

I'll probably buy 100 only because opening day meta is the best. I'm still missing a ton of cards so its not like I'll be running any of the greedy decks anyway.

I might actually buy some packs this time. For GvG I could stay away from constructed for a while and get enough packs by playing arena. It looks like it will be harder this time, assuming the arena packs will be of random type:

There's a new 9 mana neutral common, 9/7 battlecry: Deal 4 damage.

Looks pretty bad. Beast in my sights etc. Doesn't do enough for 9 mana.

I think that Warrior weapon sucks ass. Fiery War Axe is good because it's cheap and kills early stuff in one hit. The new weapon is basically just a more expensive, later game fiery war axe. Fiery war axe tends to suck ass in late game, you can't kill big minions with it an the minions you can hit with it do like bigger damage.

I think a better mechanic for it (given that it's the King's Defender) is that you take like damage using it or something.

Better than most big non legendaries because at the very least you get the 4 damage.

Will never see play as long as most games are decided in the first 5-6 turns and it is garbage compared to other 8/9/10 mana options.
