been running rogue lately so this influx of zoo has been quite welcome

Last5 matches were against mech shaman lol i think its the same deck for all of them from a stream.

Played for roughly 2.5 hrs today.

Saw lots of shaman, lots of facehunter, LOTS of zoolock, healthy amount of demonlock and freeze mage, few warriors, few druids, few priests, few pallys, few mechmages, zero rogues, and a solitary midrange hunter who conceded on turn 2.

Rank 10-5.

across rank 3ish, 48 games past 24 hours. (sadly, 25-23, so its been pretty even keel)

meta is wild. most common opponent has been warlock (10 of the 48), but within warlock there is classic handlock, typical zoo, midrange zoo, demonlock, and even 1 dragonlock deck.

basically, warlock is common, but within warlock, there is no best deck right now so its just kinda not knowing what to expect.

9 mages, and tempo mage is still king but mech mage exists still as ever. its about half and half.

6 hunters, all but 1 were face. **** them.

5 paladins, all were midrange that is a v popular deck and basically the same across the board give or take 2 cards or so

5 warriors, 2 classic control waaaay teched late game (seriously what were they thinking) and the other 3 all grim patron deck

5 rogues, seems like miracle with emperor is not popular at all. all 5 were oil. some run boom, some dont.

shockingly, only 5 druids. all were combo.

2 shamans, both were bloodlust

just 1 priest. it was goose

meta is in a really good spot. i rarely say this, (and sometimes when its totally imbalanced it's a good thing as you can counter pick well) but it's kinda fun to have such different classes. obv a few classes have just 1 "good" archetype, but enough have multiple that its pretty cool

eu meta on the other hand is legit all hunter and druid. there is no diversity, and the amount of face hunters compared to na is staggering

I didn't run into a single Shaman or Rogue. Not a single one in 59 games! I made my climb almost entirely in Paladin, which I teched slightly more to ease up the Hunter matchup. I think Paladin v Druid is a really natural/strong edge, (only lost 1 game, and that was to Zelae, who was a lucky SOB because he got a chugga out of a shredder which locked up my coghammer for the game) the Hunter matchup isn't good but can be breakeven, and I like the matchup vs both Zoo and Handlock a lot. (Even cutting to just 1 equality)

15 games today vs mainly legends. freeze mage is sadly all the rage, as 3 of the games were against that deck (3 different people) i was laddering with priest, so suffice to say i deranked a bit.

man, Freeze Mage is one of my favourite matchups as a Priest. Nothing says "fuq u loser" to a Freeze Mage more than playing Healbot + SW right after they Alexstraza. It's like, well congrats mate, your entire win condition just did nothing. Save the other SW for Tony and it's truly gg.

emperor lets freeze mage crush against a slow class like priest. with a good one you can do the full 30 damage in one turn, an average one and its merely 20

I guess other priests run healbot, but I dont. (Personally, I think it's dumb, but hey, I'm the one that can't beat Freeze mage with it!)

The entire meta right now is mid range zoo. I take a few weeks off the game and all of a sudden it's so foreign to me lol

Shamans aren't very good against zoo either. You're dead if you don't draw Lightning Storm and you're unfavored if you only draw one.

Honestly I just find Shaman really weak in general. The only super positive match tends to be Warrior. And the new, more favored Grim Patron Warrior, prob is a favorite as well. I don't think it's good vs Paladin, it's real bad to Priest, struggles mightily vs Hunter, unfavored vs combo decks (freeze, druid, whatever). It can be teched to do well vs Rogue I guess.

I don't think Shaman is unfavored to druid if it draws remotely average early game but yeah, it's pretty rough for Shaman's against most everything which is too bad because I really like the hero power.

Shaman needs a second totem activator and a second aoe IMO.

Tonight half (HALF!) my matches are against warrior. More control warrior than grim patron, too.

No one is really updating it, so I'll give it a go:

Have played 23 (very frustrating) matches from Rank 4 to... Rank 4. (NA) 10 games have been against Warrior, half Patron/half CW. 6 games against warlock, half handlock half zoo. 4 hunters (split between face and midrange) and 3 shaman (all super aggro)

I have no idea what is good against Patron. Everything seems to range from OK to awful. I also have no idea what to play against Zoo - the only really good matchup is Face Hunter, but when I queue with that, I get warrior, and just auto lose.

If there ever was a time for pure midrange Shaman, this seems to be it. It's fine vs handlock, great vs CW, and seems to have enough burst and hard removal to counter patron.

Ramp Druid, Handlock, and Control Warrior beat patron

Ramp druid being the all giant taunters deck which no one plays.

Handlock in my experience ****s all over patron.

I was playing ramp druid yesterday. It gets owned by handlock, so it wasn't fun.

I dont think control warrior is that much of a favorite - comes down to having brawl, since a board full of 3/3s or w/e is impossible to clear, esp when you have a DB equipped

Yeah, handlock is the one deck that makes a lot of sense.

Playing zoo, I don't think I've lost to patron warrior yet this season.
