just got beat by a Mill Rogue running GANG UP on Coldlight Oracle. How can you beat a deck running SIX Coldlight Oracles? Unbeatable deck, confirmed #1 on next week's TempoStorm meta snapshot.

Just saw a game where trump played some kind of Fatigue-ish rogue that had 2 deathlords and healed for 32 damage and he still beat him with his face hunter deck.

Nothing special about the deck or anything, but currently 12-1 on this session with this:




5-0 vs Control warrior so far, and the matchup feels pretty good. Think Emperor made a huge difference there.

I think w/ the spells you'll get more value with teachers over shredders. Is no thalnos bc you dont have him or he was a legit cut?

When I play Gadgetzan I find a way to put in shivs

wait, i just casually read this, but im rereading this again - you played 5 warriors out of 13 games!? i play 5 warriors in every like ~50 games!

All is of course just my opinion and could be wrong but:

I don't own Thalnos sadly. I'm sure it'd make the cut, though over what I'm unsure.

I used to run teachers but I like shredders a lot more now. Teachers are just much slower to get rolling while Shredder sticks something on turn 4 into our turn 5 a vast majority of the time, which is what I've found myself really wanting in games.

Shiv is cute in its interaction with Gadgetzan, but I just don't like it anymore. Apart from its cycling it really doesn't do anything. In the old miracle rogue decks that was fine because all you were trying to do was cycle a billion irrelevant spells, and you had the time to do so, but now due to a variety of circumstances we just don't really have the luxury to durdle around playing a 2 mana: replace this card.



You read that right haha. I stopped for right now at 14-2 and the breakdown was:

Facehunter: 2-1
Tempo Mage: 1-0
Midrange Pally: 1-0
Priest: 3-0
Oil Rogue: 1-0
Demonlock: 1-1
Control Warrior: 5-0




Keep in mind this is a small sample from early in a month and all, but I feel comfortable with it during the games vs Warrior so far, which was not the case at all before the Emperor. Essentially he's provided another threat, has an immediate impact in that matchup (The matchup is pretty slow while you get to hold a lot of your cards early that you have to vomit out vs other classes like sap/fan/eviscerate/etc), and created some turns that just make it impossible for them to deal with efficiently.

It's entirely possible the way the games broke + it being early in the month vs randoms caused it to seem better than it is. That wouldn't surprise me at all. But those games have been pretty clean imo.

Been playing double combo druid with Emperor and it's just so absurd. You can combo out in (even more) games you have absolutely no business winning.

Just ran into the Gang Up deck. He ganged up on my loatheb (I was playing rogue) which seemed bad. But

I've been playing a mix trying out diff decks vs the new meta. Mid range pally, combo druid, mech mage, tempo mage, zoolock. Combo druid is feeling by far the strongest for me right now. I havent made much progress in the rankings yet though.

Yeah, I have had no success with the card outside of the mill variant with coldlight oracle. Lol me for thinking it could work.

The mill rogue deck is more viable than it's ever been, but it's still not a legend deck. I think you could make it to rank 5 with it though. Gang up provides a nice versatility where you use it on the healbot vs aggro and use it on the coldlight vs control. Allows you to customize the deck in match, in a way.

Biggest downside of the deck is playing the mirror, which is the most mind numbingly boring thing ever.

Yea at the beginning of the season - and end - they cone out in full force. Honestly with inclusion of quick shot they are even more prevalent.

On EU, I threw Hogger into my Shaman deck (because I opened him in a pack, and I barely have any legendaries on EU!) and he's been pretty good. The synergy is obvious, but just to spell it out, if he isn't instantly removed, you are going to win. Only a few games on the ladder climb there, but def suggest using him if anyone here likes maining Shaman and owns him. (There are also a lot of hunters, and he really helps that matchup for obvious reasons)

I played against the Mill rogue that ganged up a coldlight and a sludge belcher. I was playing double combo Druid and managed to only have 2 cards get milled. Unfortunately those two cards were force of nature and savage roar. I think that any two other cards in the deck, or even one but not both of the combo and the the game would have ended differently. I got him down to 3 health going through a brother the hard way but healbot saved him. It was an interesting game for sure. I think that gang up decks are going to present a new kind of fun puzzle.

Does anyone play on Asia? I'm SUPER free to play there, but built a grim patron deck (saved all my gold for the 1st wing) with very few rares (have like 10 total rares, lol) with warrior and i am trashing the lowbie population

Define SUPER free to play. Is that like you haven't spent a single dollar or more like if anyone is on the asia servers they are more than welcome to hit you up for friendly games?

this. on eu, im free to play but have been playing for a lot of months - so my collection is pretty decent. on asia, i have not, so all my gold got saved for brm. so i barely have any cards at all beyond basic

Rank 5. Fastest I've ever gotten there. 21 days left to grind. I'm pretty nervous given how volatile the meta is with BRM cards coming out every Tuesday, as well as all the Druid decks working one day but not the next. The dream is very much alive though. We'll see what we can do.

I just cant beat hunters today to save my life.

also, for the 1000th time, the time bank needs to be fixed. people roping wasting 3-5 mins of my life every beginning is stupid

just had one of my most fun games in a while. im rogue vs paladin. turn 1 he plays abusive sergeant. ok, this is shockadin, dont see too many of those. i pass, as i have edwin, and its not worth coin daggering. he plays minibot. turn 2 i prep fan coin edwin for the 8/8, and he insta concedes.

The Grim Patron Warrior mirror has to be the craziest mirror I have ever played.

Here's the Druid list of the day



Druid of the Flame is just so dirty. You are mulliganing for the obvious early spells and 3 drops, so Innervate + Druid of the Flame happens often. It then usually trades with THREE early game minions of your opponent. Like that is just so so good. Ran 8-2 with this tonight. At 490 Druid wins now too

Been playing a bit of Mech Mage which I blasted into Rank 4 with, but lost my first two with that tonight so switched back to Druid. One of those losses was to Tarei playing Malygos Rogue. He even gifted me a Loatheb when I played Mirror Entity which was nice, but cleared it next turn with a Blade Flurry and I just couldn't topdeck Fireball after he played Malygos to save me. Then like yeah, 2 Sinisters for 8 each, ok bye.
