What's this, another desperate attempt to revive the Hearthstone subforum?
The introduction of achievements (which was long overdue, according to some) has brought a new dimension to the game. Most achievements give you nothing more than points and a nice, green check mark in the relevant section. But for the newest set it's different. Clearing these achievements will earn you XP - which means you advance more quickly on the rewards track.
So, anyone around here who's been grinding achievements?

I posted this in the main thread recently:
Here's another one, but from 'Gameplay - Core' (so no XP).
The reward was 1 point.

This is the end of a long journey. It hasn't been easy. Neighbors have been woken op by cries of despair when three Huffers in a row were followed by a soul shattering Leokk or Misha. Hairs have been pulled out after Ragnaros the Snipelord missed the enemy hero for the umpteenth time. Phone calls have been ignored, friends have been neglected, relationships have stranded.
But I did it. I finally ****ing did it. This has to be one of the biggest achievements in gaming of the decade, possibly of the century. I guess I'll make this screenshot into an NFT and sell it for 'bout 3.50 ETH.

They posted that they had finally done it - they had beaten the game. They ended their subscription right then and there and walked away. The rest of the forum readers couldn't believe it.
So Sheep86, you did it. It's been a pleasure having you amongst the steadfast few that didn't switch to Magic, Gwent, or some other such nonsense. You persevered. You beat Hearthstone. Godspeed.
This reminds me of a post many years ago in the WoW subforum - or maybe even back when it was just a mega-thread.
