Log your ass into PokerStars at 9:30 PM Eastern / 6:30 Pacific tonight for Herfaholic's pick, triple stud. For the uninitiated, that's stud, razz, and stud hi/lo played in rotation until someone forgets what game it is and jams a hopeless loser for the rest of his stack.

Admission is 1.1 play chips per table, two tables max. Payment plans are available for those on a budget. (No they're not.)

First player to bink either tourney and post in this thread (or contact me at the table) gets to pick next week's game.

If you want to join the club today, get your requests in before 5 PM EST. If it is later than that, I won't be around a PC, so I won't get your request until tomorrow.

Of course, you can join any time over the next week and play next Monday.

We could use some flop games up in here, so it'll be PLHE/PLO rotation next week.

By the way, very good heads-up match, Matt.

(And congratulations on holding onto that second-place spot. )

Thank you? You just wouldn't go away! The last one I was so tired I don't even know when you became chip leader; I looked and thought, "what happened?" then just wanted sleep.

Maybe I'll take a drive up to a game sometime.

On another note, are NH residents eligible to win on-line prizes from Mohegan Sun? I know that some states are not eligible. They have a play money site and give out $75 vouchers to the top ten finishers toward MTT's on Saturdays (I finished 11th this past week) and hotel rooms for their Sunday tourney. The Sunday tourney only pays top three and gets more people runs longer and is quite a bit more difficult, got 9th this past weekend (I called an all in bet from AA post flop with 14 outs.) I find these tourneys to often be better play than their real money tourneys. Maybe I just get seated with maniac donks regularly. It may be worth our while.

I got a request from BlackSea1775. Introduce yourself here or PM me and I'll accept your request.

I should have mentioned that requirement in my earlier post. I'm posting it in this thread in case he saw that.

Table A just wouldn't let me die, man! And remember that hand where I checked behind on the end with 11 chips left? That was the one and only hand in which I forgot which game we were playing, because it was stud 8 but we had both started off with high-leaning hands. I had a brain fart and thought that we were playing high-only stud, and that I was going to be left with only those 11 chips.

I don't know about Mohegan Sun's tournaments, but I don't see anything off the bat that says I wouldn't be able to claim a tournament entry. I don't believe NH law forbids it either.

However, I very rarely make it down there. This upcoming weekend will be my first trip to either CT casino in almost a decade. I play most of my poker at home games in my neck of the woods.

Tourney vouchers at the sun are good for 6 months. I have a hard time spending that much time on the road. It really isn't worth it for me. Before my trip to cash some vouchers it had been over 15 years.

Table B caught me with a big boo boo. I thought we were playing either razz or stud but that table hadn't switched yet. Hard to play heads up on 2 tables at once. For me anyway.

Heads-up on both tables with the same opponent can get interesting. It builds up a sort of meta-game where the action on one table can kinda seep over to the other table.

I'm just glad you didn't manage to beat me on both tables. It does look like you will be my nemesis this season, though.
