I should delete this on principle, but I'll let it go. No more of these allowed, however.

Hi all,
Some unbelievable setups here.

My setup consists of a folding table, chips and electronic dealer button.

We play in my garage, although my garage is like being inside the house as the walls and ceiling are plastered and the floor is carpeted.

When the the weather is warm I usually setup under my car port.

Next time I have a home game I will take some pics and post them here.

Thanks for sharing all of your setups.

Cheers,

First the table. My wife and I built it last year. Note that it is not the standard size. Our house doesn't have a room big enough for an 8x4 table so we built a 6.5 x 3.5 one. Couldn't get the wrinkles out of the vinyl the way some of you guys do, but happy otherwise. Fits nicely and holds 7 comfortably, 8 or 9 in a pinch. 1999 American Standard Jazz Bass in the background if any music guys are curious.

Chips- Paulson Pharoah's. I'm not creative enough to come up with a custom design, and I think these are some of the best looking and best feeling chips out there.

My wife and I found this table at Kay's Merchandise on our honeymoon. Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps. And of course the dartboard. Nice motif I think.

Nice stuff (I also see the PS3 box!), but why the dealer cut out?

Nice bass, I have a 97, white. Just an awesome instrument.

zone- Because the dealer cutout is cool. When we play we rotate dealer from week to week and it is just easier to shuffle cards and deal without the rail, plus it places the dealer in the center of the table, making it easier to chop pots and deal to everyone. Leaving out the dealer spot would only add one more seat and would make dealing much more of a hassle. Plus I think it looks cool and I wanted to try to build a table with a dealer cutout. We play a lot of stud games and split pot stuff so it really is handy to have it.

Find- thanks. Mine came with the white pick guard but I got the tortoise shell because I wanted to look like John Paul Jones.

Had a small game last night, this is my typical setup. Dining room table pushed to the side and poker table in it's place.

Nothing fancy, roomy enough for ten players.

If the weather is good, we game when we can on Friday nights, on my back deck. Otherwise, we use the kitchen table. Noise is not an issue because my wife plays too...and the kids get to stay up and watch movies in the other room.

We usually play dealers choice for an hour (starting at 8pm), and then re-chip for a NLHE tourney. I hope to get my guest comfortable enough to play a HORSE tourney someday...but most of them don't play as much as I do, so I just play what is most enjoyed.

We usually enjoy food and drink, and try to play on the occasional Friday night...although lately a picture of my Friday night game would look more like a screen shot from FTP.

These are some amazing set ups. I am planning on building a table this summer and getting a game started up. I'm a huge fan of the suited speedcloth that I keep seeing.

Yeah, I keep saying I'm gonna resurface mine with that but I never get around to it.

That's awesome. You bastardized your pool table.

Sadly for now, we have this....~7pm

Another minor downside to having my game outside. I would bump back the start time, but people ALWAYS show up late anyway so I don't want to push it back any. The game usually breaks up ~12:30 to 1am (not because of me)

Here are a few pics of my home game... Every few months I find myself adding something to the room to make it more 'genuine'. First the table, then the chips (will be replacing chips with custom clay from pokerchips.com soon). The slot machine was soon after, then the kegerator and video games (there is another, 'Vigilante', in the next room). Recently the ShuffleTech shuffler and the dropbox with paddle were added.

Yes - too well for my taste. It had a 96% chip in it when I bought it, after the first few months I bought the 85% chip (lowest one they had for sale) but it didn't seem to make much difference. I do not have games often, so it is rarely used, and when someone DOES hit on it, no one else wants to put money in fearing that it will not hit again (which is totally false but hey - I wouldn't either).

On average I bring in about $70/night with the machine, but I have had evenings where I lost over $100, and an evening where I netted about $150. I have only hit the 'Jackpot' 3 times (fortunately, *I* was the one pulling the lever at the time). My mother came by during a party I had and hit the jackpot but only had one quarter in, so she got nothing.
