So you are a non playing designated dealer? Or are you saying the other players let you deal all or most of the hands? If it is the second situation, are you playing/dealing and moving a dealer button? I would certainly hope that is the case

Yes I deal and play, there are 2 of us who are designated dealers as we're both pretty quick, can shuffle and keep the game going. I'll deal half the night and the other dealer will deal the rest of the night. Only exception is for toilet breaks. We've did this for years and it's worked well. Yeah obviously there is a dealer button which gets passed every hand
