Link to see the table:

Anybody with this table that can tell me which drop box I should be using for it?

The table comes with the sliding thing under the table used to insert a drop box but I don't know which one I should be buying.

Thanks.

What do you need a dropbox for to run a real "home game"?

We have a Royal Flush jackpot and a Bad Beat jackpot.

It's not for rake and I should have specified that in OP cause I knew someone would ask that instead of answering the actual question.

i lol'd

btw, i'm not making fun of OP. i have a cheaper, crappier table in my room than this. lol'ing at Kmart's claim.

and OP, if you haven't already bought this, you can build 10x the table for the same price with simple high-school carpentry and home-ec skills.

I already got the table. I actually got the table, a 2000 "clay" chip set/cash game set, 8 Copag decks, 8 chip trays, 10 chairs, and a few other stuff all for $380 so I got a good deal.

All I need now is the drop box so hopefully someone can tell me which one is the right one for this table.

It doesn't look like a terrible table, but 250? Yikes. Over-priced.

And I know I'm not answering your question, by the way.

For a whopping $46 you can get a double-keyed drop box (key to lock box, key to lock to table table) and the shield that gets bolted to the bottom of the table. You can replace whatever mounting hardware is already there, because the shield is included. Keys are simple, but more than sufficient for anyone running a home operation.

If you can use a screwdriver, this is probably a good fit for you.

I thought the acrylic one would be better so that everyone can see how much is going into the box for those jackpots.

Good to hear. DCG price-matches, by the way.

We take $2 out of each pot over $20 ($1 for each jackpot). So at the end of the night it's a matter of dividing whatever is on the box.

The dealer leaves the $2 aside until the hand is over so everyone can see before it's taken in.

Can't say for sure, but both jackpots have hit once since I started the game 17 months ago.
