Give us the formula that you will use to determine the final table chip stacks. For example, will each point be multiplied by $100?
I would give each player at the final table a normal starting stack and use your normal blind structure, using the points system as bonus chips over and above the starting stack amount. My concern is that I wouldn't want the player that squeaked into the 8th final table seat to have only a few big blinds and be in a shove/fold situation right from the start. Allow everyone a decent stack to play with, rewarding the high points earners with bonus chips so they are monster stacked.
