Basically, yeah, that's how I see it playing out. Implied odds become more of a consideration than in a traditional

x structured game. Better players will open up their preflop ranges a little more than usual and be a little more inclined to draw on the flop, relying on those $3 big bets to get paid. I'd imagine raising the turn would become an important power play as well.
Weaker players will go from playing almost anything to a flop, to playing absolutely anything to a flop because, "Hey, it's only a dollar!"
