We have shitty felt and I don't mind springing for the good stuff, just need to know what to order, I'm not sure exactly what poker felt brands are that are good, and won't fuzz or stain super easy, etc

They don't want speed cloth

Let me know thanks!

Have you asked in the Home Poker forum yet?

You'll probably get a better response there.

Do a search in the Home Poker forum. You'll find older threads on this subject.

I've seen a table recently done from a company called Gorilla Gaming. I haven't seen how it wears because it hasn't been in use long enough, but it looks and feels great to me. I was told they do the felts for one of the poker tours but that's second hand info so I won't say which one for sure. I saw their felt examples (like a paint/carpet demo sample) and they had various levels of quality and feel. I don't know how much they run, but if I was going to have my own table and didn't mind springing for some good stuff, it might be worth it. I don't know other companies to compare anything to though, so take my words for what they are.

Pro Suited speed cloth is what we used in a table build several years ago. Cards shot across it like a rocket (you def need a rail to catch cards, or they'll fly off the table a lot) and it dealt with spills well. No idea how well it held up, as I moved away. Just googled really quick, and I'm seeing $4.50 per foot at 60 inches wide.

Check out Your Auto Trim website.. They have a Poker section.. Nylon velvet. Super smooth, probably not as stain resistant as speed cloth, but damn, people shouldn't have a drink near the surface ajyway..
Post your results.. Home poker guys appreciate a nice table build thread or home game set up pics
