It's an exciting view of final prep in my living room...
Wow, just turned it on, better quality than the WSOP livestream!

Yeah, looks like they are getting more than 2 cards, so obviously it is only rigged to read hold'em holecards.

And now the flop is part of the discards!

Looks to be way too much sobriety at that table.

The table reads "normal" Omaha with some accuracy if the dealer and players are good with the card placement, but there's a lot of Big-O and 2-7 going on -- that sort of thing, so a lot of the games will be difficult for the table to track AT ALL.

...also, I changed the rotate speed on the camera from 5 seconds to 7 seconds. *shrug*

That's exactly what he did.

Also the Phoenix crew learned how good I am at flipping. I took down the opening flip of HPI with a set of Kings.

Day 1 is a wrap. Ran pretty much a full table from 7-12, and then closed out 5-handed from 12-2.

Camera is off, but we'll fire it back up tomorrow afternoon.

That reminds me, it doesn't look like anyone has nametags. I know someone mentioned that earlier in the thread. I think it would be nice to have, so you can know people's real names as well as 2+2 names (for those who don't have it conveniently in their 2+2 name, like myself).

Jz is on the far left and Schmendy is on the end in the plaid shirt. You have Pali right.

I watched a few hands last night and I plan on checking in later today. Sweet set up Palimax!

I enjoyed watching last night even though it was difficult to follow the action (it would be easier if you hired a commentator, LOL). Excellent video quality, much better than I had expected.

Depends. We'll be on for sure by 7pm Arizona time, but might be on earlier depending on the out-of-town crew. My non 2+2 locals work.

Yes. I'm the fat guy in the bright-colored shirt. On the right of the photo is "dick," thesnuke's friend. JZ and Schmendr1ck were already outed by Palindrome, so I can confirm those two as well. Middle left is Josh, one of my local players.

Cool. Thanks. It's a bit of a mess trying to follow non-standard games on the system when there's no set dealer, when the overhead cam isn't tightly focused, and it's not even obvious what game we're playing. We only played straight hold'em or Omaha a couple of orbits last night -- but that was the plan.

Tonight's "main event table" should be at least 3/4 hold'em and Omaha, so it should be much more tracked. Some players don't cooperate fully, and some dealers can't cooperate fully, so not everything is perfect.

The system has the capability to have a commentator. I can easily assign a microphone to a producer and/or commentator, and they can even do things like annotate stack sizes and such. We generally don't do that because it means someone has a job other than playing. Who knows. Maybe I'll get frisky and give it a go tonight.

David Tuchman's commentaries are usually pretty good.
