I understood the MTG part since I used to play, but other than I was clueless evej though they tried to explain. I'm pretty nerdy but this was a whole new level. I will say it was very interesting to try and pick up on.

BTW, I went through some of my old MTG cards tonight.

I found 14 dual lands in varying condition, a couple of Italian Mana Drains, and a stack of $10-20 cards from various sets. When I sell these, I should be able to clear somewhere around $2k. Score!

Interesting, and awesome.

You can do your own singles sales on TCGPlayer now - just create your own "store" and you can sell whatever you'd like. Obviously to succeed there with small quantities, you need to beat the cheapest sellers, but they might be better than eBay in fees -- hard to say, we've been pondering what's best for selling a short lot.

If you don't do individual sales and plan on selling wholesale, let me know and I might be interested at a discount.

Thanks. I was getting price info there but didn't realize I could sell there too. I'll probably sell the more valuable cards directly, but might be interested in a bulk sale of the $15-30 cards. (Understanding, of course, that I wouldn't get full retail if I go this way.)

More digging turned up some decent Legends and a half dozen Karakas (though most are Italian, they are also M/NM).

several comments.

First Pali- I meant to ask you at the HPI, but do you know of any places in the east valley for poker supplies? looking for a birdcage carrier. I saw someplace out in glendale or something but was hoping you might know of something on the east side since I'm there every day.

Also- any thoughts on when you'll get the video archive from the HPI available?

Also- If you're still keeping your AZ poker room spreadsheet updated, I have a few minor updates for it from the Hondah. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/20...68/index5.html

And finally, for those who I spoke to at the HPI about our NFL survivor pool, it is now open for signups- details in this thread-

I'm going to unstick this thread in a day or two as soon as I have the heart.

Bump for epicness and because I was just thinking about this event today. Was an absolute blast, actually probably more enjoyable when I traveled down there and didn't have to worry about hosting! Schem, perhaps its time to start the HPI 2014 thread. I'm going to do a much better job this year of getting the word out to my home game players prior to June (I failed hard this year...) to see if anymore would like to travel down to Orlando.

What kind of casinos/bingo parlors are around your place? Need to know where to start looking for my 6 or 7 AM fix next year.

Also, Pali is currently holding the mixed placecards I left down there hostage He has been incommunicado the last month or so. Maybe he ate too many jelly beans....

Hospitalized after mixing skunk and centipede, no doubt. I've been fairly incommunicado myself this week, thanks to being stuck in BFE with horrible internet access and playing a good bit of poker (more on that in the open thread).

The closest poker rooms to my home are in Daytona (1 hour) and Tampa (1.5 hours). I'm not sure about bingo, but there's dog racing and jai alai not too far if you really want to degen it up with the old folks.

Not staying up to play bingo that Sunday morning has become a life regret of mine.

Second that. I will never make that mistake again. I've been practicing online my bingo skills (thank you unemployment) so I'm ready to mop up the old people next time. Perhaps when your in town next time we just go because it will be some major lolz.
