Some crossover news from low-content to HPI, but I like bumping this thread.
Spent Sun-Thurs in Vegas, very little poker played, but visited both Spinetti's and Gambler's General Store, as well as shopping at the WSOP for a few 2012 [not 2013, obv] setups.
GGS is currently "fighting" against Spinetti's retail location - they've put up a chain link fence stopping walking traffic, and making it difficult for driving traffic to get to Spinetti's from their parking lot. GGS also had a greatly reduced inventory from my last visit. Fewer slot machines, weaker chip selection, more kitschy knick-knacks than before. If Spinetti's wasn't next door (despite the chain link fence), it probably wouldn't be worth visiting them unless there was something very specific you wanted to buy and save shipping on.
I picked up some new sealed, numbered craps dice sets at GGS, and then moved to Spinetti's.
Spinetti's had nearly the perfect cards, if they weren't old PokerStars leftovers: I hate logo'd cards, but they were Dal Negro bridge/jumbo with shaded pips for $10 for a two-deck setup.

For nearly the same price, I got a setup of Dal Negro Treviso decks:

[The PS cards also say Treviso, but aren't the same faces. *shrug*]
...and while I hate the ways that Copag cards fade, I'm going to give another go at what might be their perfect card - the Saraswati. Bridge/Jumbo, more shaded centers, with a design back that isn't too "out" there.

I also picked up a new set of Pai Gow Tiles tiles. A slightly nicer one at $20. Great deal including a case, shaker dice and a banker button.
[If only shakers weren't $40.]
Back over at the WSOP I picked up the aforementioned pair of WSOP 2012 decks. They were $18/ea, but that's before a 20% Diamond discount - and then I just paid with points. I'm still not a fan of logo'd backs, but they're pretty "safe" ubiquitous cards. It's hard to find fault with them.
So, anyway, gathering supplies for the event
