SB works just fine, too. The only thing I don't like about it is that often people don't think to hand off a deck to cut. If you're not shuffling your own, then there's always a cut.
Oh, and make sure to use only ONE cut card. Using two inspires the shuffler to cut his own. Either than or he passes it over with the cut card underneath, and the dealer either assumes someone else cut it, or exposes the bottom while removing the cut card. Hell, I saw a guy flip over the deck to check if the cut card was there. Way to think ahead there, buddy.
Another disadvantage to the SB shuffle is that there isn't always a SB, at least not in tournament play (I assume you realize Oaks is weird on that one, Prop). There's always a BB. No matter what. Every single time. Without fail. Never doesn't happen.
But with a sophisticated group and enough players who look out for the game, I doubt it's a problem.
