Is the high rake home game/ private game beatable? Or profitable?

I’m in LA, CA. Due to the covid-19, most of the casinos are closed. Recently I found some home game that runs in apartment with every high rake.
The smaller game is either 5/10 or 5/5/10 and the rake is 5% cap at $50.
The bigger game is 10/10/25 and the rake cap at $125.
Is this something beatable or profitable? What do you guys think?

5% is nice, but those caps are brutal. How deep do the games play? How many whales? How good are you?
I would not personally play these games, as I won't pay that much on principal, but whether it's beatable depends on the answers above.

I've played in many home games in LA over the past two decades...never paid a rake except for food/beverage which was never more than $100pp.
This rakes are taking thousands an hour off the table...I'm not sure how that is beatable unless you're Mike Postle!
