Why? Snacks are good. People like to eat.

I guess that works for a SNG, but OP wants a cash game.

Heh, okay, 10K profit online but afraid to put up more than $20 live. Interesting bankroll management.
*scratching head*

Ummmmmmmm, huh? So where'd your alleged 10K come from? Good players who select solid openers and fold when they're behind? I feel like there's a fundamental misunderstanding of poker skill versus profit happening here.

"Too much money" is relative to what people are comfortable playing with. You have to take into consideration how much money people have and what they're willing to gamble with.
"Drunk" is the key word here. People can act stupid when they're drunk. Nothing wrong with providing some drinks for your game, but don't encourage people to get people wasted. Not only does it increase the chances of a stupid fight, but it slows the game down and makes frustrating errors more likely.

Kinda vague, but agreed.

Sure, I guess, if you have a drinking crowd and they like beer. See the warning about drunkenness above, though.

Also, no dimes and quarters, get some bills no one wants to win and take 200 dimes
I mean, this stuff is true, but who are you playing home games with that these things are even likely issues? I think the major lesson from this is not to invite broke/clueless people to play cards for money.
Definitely don't lend money, though, especially to a new crowd. It's one thing to float an occasional short-term loan to a long-term friend who's been playing with you for 5+ years, but don't get suckered into becoming a payday lender at your first game.
