Curious if anyone knew of an app or site to manage invitations while limiting RSVP's. Evite used to be great. I could send out 30 invites and limit RSVP's to 8 total with a waitlist. Theyntook this feature away for some reason and it is super annoying!
I too still text, and I agree it is annoying. But the advantage is that I can send out the invite to A listers before everyone else, and stall on inviting C listers until I have to. While everyone basically knows this is the case, it's not in anyone's face so afaik there have not been any hurt feelings. (At least not by anybody on the A or B lists!)
Yes .. Group text with non-group one-way responses so you can track how they come in. You also want to know how long each Player may play so you can control the waitlist a bit and not have someone sitting there for 2 hours.
Most Players know that there are A-list VIPs and then the host fills in from there. Lots of hosts (and casinos) give the starting lineup first priority for the next game. That way you know that the table will be full at the start time. 10-15 min leeway perhaps, then the seat is given to the next on-site Player.
There are plenty of 'event' Apps out there .. it just depends on how much you want everyone to see. GL
Google forms. It collects the data and you can link it to a google sheet which shows timestamps as well. I used to use homepokersystem.com but most invites ended up in people's junk folder even after marking them safe. You can send the invite to as many people as you want and you can customize the question fields.
