Exposed Card in Dramaha Exposed Card in Dramaha

What should be done when a card was accidentally exposed during the draw? I had a small dealer's choice game last night and this occurred. My house rules and Robert's Rule of Poker doesn't address this explicitly and we didn't want to pause the game to search the internet for suggestions.

Spoiler:
What we ended up doing was set the exposed card aside and complete the draw so everyone behind the player with the exposed card got their intended draw cards. The next card is flipped up to be the turn card. Finally, before the turn betting started, the player with the exposed card got a replacement card from the top of the deck and the exposed card is placed face up on top of the deck.

In the future, I will have a new house rule to enforce the dealer to push instead of pitch the cards during the draw.

Seems like a good solution. For the sacred order of the cards people, it preserves the cards everyone else was going to get, as well as the cards that were going to hit the board. For the random is random people, they're pretty much fine with anything
