How long are the levels? If 15 minutes and you cut off rebuys after 3 levels, you might pull it off in 3 hours.

I cut rebuys off after the first hour. 15 minute levels. I'm just wondering if it's okay to have denominations that are $25, $100, and $1,000. I don't know if I'll have enough chips for the rebuys...people could color up with the 10K plaques I guess...but I'm just concerned about not enough chips.

Assume 5 rebuys. That means you'll have 300 purple in play. You'll need to color these up at the end of the 250/500 round. 300 purple convert to 75 Gray (T7500)

THen you'll need to color up the Gray at the end of the 600/1200 round. assuming you colored up the purple with all gray then you'll have 300 gray in play. These will take 30 reds (T30,000)

So, assuming you have enough chips to cover the initial buy-ins plus 5 rebuys do you have another 75 gray and 30 reds? Some reds can be used in place of grays but it's a big jump.

You can probably get away with getting in a blue or two but that is a big jump too. I don't think you'll really need the T25,000. Converting it to a T500 or T5000 might work better.

Whatever structure you use, download this Tournament Clock and put it on a laptop near your game. It is really good and free. Blind levels and times are adjustable, and there are audio alerts when the blinds are going up.
