I know this is a longshot, since it isn't the biggest of cities, but anyone here part of a home game in the Louisville area?

My wife and I are looking for a regular (weekly or bi-weekly) game, $20-50 buy-in NLHE, tournaments and/or cash games.

We're not wild about paying $12/hour to Caesars' and the $100 min buy-in is a bit outside our comfort zone as well.

Funny, I'd kill to live closer to Caesars and be able to play there. We'll be there this weekend!

Well, with two of us buying in for $100 each, we're already at our threshhold for what we can really afford to lose for a week so there's no money to rebuy if you are running bad or suffer an awful beat (my wife got stacked KK v. AA and two people sucking out flushes on her last 3 times we played).

If we could find a $50 buy-in home game, we'd have enough to rebuy, and like I said, $12/hour seems like a steep price to pay to play.

Yeah, Lexington is a bit too far, especially since we live on the IN side of the river. If you had a Saturday game that started at a reasonable time we could do that once a month, but otherwise it wouldn't work.

There is a MTT on Wed nights somewhere in new albany I think. only a $10 buy in, but about 60 players or so. I hear it is a very soft game. I think the wife and I are going to play this week, so when I get a location, i will let you know if you are interested
