Even though I was born in Texas - I have never been to Austin. Ms. gamboolgal and I finally went to Austin to visit #1 Daughter this weekend.

Friday night to Ace Card Room. Nice Room, nice dealers, a nice room.

Only 2 tables of 1/2 running. Game was good and action good.

Was abit surprised that only 2 tables running.

Would recommend Ace Card Room if your on that side of town.

Saturday night went to Texas Card House - Very busy with 1/2, 2/3, 5/5 & tournament, also got a PLO going I believe. Brought in some really good BBQ and fixings. Games were very good. Can say that at 1/2 folks would gambool it up for sure.

Going back to Texas Card House this evening before we depart Austin on Monday.

If your Austin, both of these rooms would be worth a look. There is several other rooms in the Austin area that I would like to play at - that will be next trip to see #1 daughter.
