how does killing Drogon automatically mean Dany is dead too?

And if he does kill Dany, it's fair to assume the remaining dragons don't take kindly to the act and kill the NK and his buddies.

Dany would be falling from the sky at terminal velocity on the back of a 10 ton flying reptile...so yes, we can safely assume her tunic wouldn't be enough to save her life.

A nitpick of mine, mostly because I grew up in Fargo ND, is the fact that somehow the water on that little lake wasn't frozen solid. For how cold they were acting like it is there that's silly.

Except that clip clearly shows Drogon on land, which was the stem of the discussion.

Just to play devils advocate, don't all the wildlings live in straw huts and Ygrit thought a windmill was an amazing castle? They legit might not even have such long well made chains north of the wall.

Another nitpick though, since the Night King clearly wanted them all dead (waiting for the dragons theory makes no sense since the wights were clearly trying to kill all of them before their arrival), why didn't he just raise Thoros from the dead while they slept and have him attack them? Why didn't he throw a bunch of spears at them with his perfect accuracy? Pretty silly...
