If Theon kills Ramsey there he's dead too. He'll have better opportunities.
04-14-2014 , 05:34 PM
Yeah, I don't think Theon is completely brainwashed. He's just into survivalist mode.

Yah I think Tywin may step in here. Also don't believe he would believe Tyrion actually poisoned him. Now I could see Cersei going rogue anyways.

Why hasn't Jamie been married off yet? Anyone know? Bookreaders are welcome to PM. I know he was off being captured when some of the marriages were being conceived, but HE'S A MAN HE'S 40 so I figured he would've been tied down by now. Does it have something to do with being in the King's Guard (similar to Night's Watch)? Tywin tried to kick him out in 4.1, but he said I'm staying, and Ty basically said "as you wish."

Yes, but there's a screen cap out there of him sitting next to Varys at the party after he was already sent away.

Tyrion always gets screwed- usually by whores, though!

He's a member of the King's Guard

They cannot marry by law

Correct, the Kings Guard take an oath of celibacy.

Tywin tried to remove Jamie from the KG in the first episode this season. He said there was precedent for them to disband due to injury or something and did want to marry him off somewhere. Jamie said gtfo and Tywin is mad at him for being a loser.

Poor Jamie and his 1 hand.

Tywin - You're a loser for wanting to stay on with 1 hand instead of being heir to Casterly Rock and living the married/rich life.

Cercei - You're a loser for getting captured, losing your hand, and taking so long to get back.

Joffrey - You're a loser for being 40 and having no accolades worthy of being written, and likely never will with 1 hand.

Jamie = 1-handed loser.

Pretty sure Tywin won`t let anything happen to Tyrion. Even though he despises him, he is still a Lannister. It would be polictally pretty bad to admit a Lannister killed another Lannister. So there is literally no chance anything happens to him OFFICIALY. Cersei can always try to assassinate him.

I don`t think it was the right time for the Tyrells to kill Joffrey, they could`ve waited till Joffrey knocked Margaery up and then have the future King be raised by her. So that`s my argument for them not being behind it.

Now that I think about it I doubt Varys would put himself at risk by either ordering somebody to poison the pie or by doing it himself. I think he would definitely do it but only with assurances and the assurances would have to come from somebody close and with the power to protect him. Basically only Tywin.

Maybe Bran killed Joff remotely doing one of his warging things.

They even added in a dramatic, oh so obvious look of disgust on his face after he took the first bite to make it obvious that something was amiss. If you combine that with the shot of the dead birds (which was unnecessary unless it was meant to foreshadow something), it should be obvious where the poison came from.

It's the pie like 99.999999999999999999999999999 percent

Could you clarify this?

Also, can anyone answer my question about King's Guard-->Jamie-->Marriage?

What do ya mean? He'd have to leave the KG first. Tywin offered him a way out and Jamie said "nah I'm good" presumably because he wants to continue banging his sister.

Imagine Joffrey suicided just to frame Tyrion.

As I wrote earlier, the poisoned wine was poured from carafa in front of Cersei and Tywin. if the necklace is where the posion was, and it seems likely from the captions, then Olenna was trying to kill one of them.
