rewatched S7 , forgot how mehhhhhh it really was
Whole beyond the wall plot with Dragon rescue mission and Snow just deciding "meh don't wanna just fly out here that would be boring ill just wander off and fight some more walkers instead!"
"As Ill prefer to get randomly rescued by benjen at the last second instead"
was mindblowing stupid
Arya/Sansa plot awful as well
That was the worst episode in the series for. I guess they just hit up the northernmost Home Depot to have enough industrial strength, large link , metal chain to haul a dead dragon out of a freezing lake.
I thought it was a good episode, but would have been better as the first of a 10 or 12 episode season, now they have to fit everything into 5 episodes somehow. It seemed like there was a lot of filler for how little time is left.
Good episode, it's the calm before the store and it's setting the tone for the rest of the season. Anybody who's disappointed must've forgot how the build up in G.O.T works.
Does anyone else think Tyrion is somehow a Targareon and will ride the ice dragon?
I believe it was in season 1 or 2 where he was looking at the dragon skulls and saying that as a kid he dreamed of something. I thought for sure then that it was foreshadowing to him being the third dragon person.
And tonight with the long stare that Bran gave him....he's definitely taking over a dragon.
Emilia Clarke said something about viewers having a bad reaction to Daenarys this season? Does she refuse to bend the knee to Jon once the truth is known?

the point in the follow-on show was interesting - if only Targaryons can ride dragons, it's a clue for Jon that he could, but then why would Dany think Jon could ride one in the first place?
