This would severely suck.

How do you pussily opt out of an epic death sequence for Jamie @ Lannisters vs Drogon / Dothraki, only to then have him die in what has to be the most predictable and cliche way possible just two episodes later?

for all her protagonist trappings in the overall plot, dany has actually roasted a bunch of people under the guise of parlay in the past. i'd say she's just as likely as cersei to pull some BS. they also foreshadowed this when tyrion told her she can be a bit "impulsive."

Tyrion should be torched. So far he's failed so hard at using his insider family knowledge to win the war effort vs Cersei, and if he's advised anything related to trusting Cersei to cooperate vs the WW it's time to cut him out of the inner circle. Best case he's just ****ty as an advisor during wartime, worst case he's sabotaging.

Best example of Dani the actress sucking relative to her cast is comparing / contrasting her speech to the Dothraki in S6 to Drogo's in S1. Effectively the same content, Dany has benefit of being on Drogon, and Drogo is like 10X as good at making you feel the emotion of the moment.

Finally he's dead!!!! Goat ending for a woat character
08-27-2017 , 10:18 PM

Nothing like some good incest porn with a dwarf watching to end the season.

Just awful. So sad to see a goat show failing so hard.

The kick in the nuts is the official jumping of the shark.

Wtf. The nut shots is the single worst scene in GoT history.

I hated the creepy out of left field midget spying and incest jelousy.. Like just last ep he was encouraging both of them to smash, now All of a sudden he can't bear it? Wtf..... The hole thing was a massive let down.

Watch tormond and left eye survive too...

Ead writers for this epic failure of a ending to this season....

i thought the finale was better than the last two episodes just insofar as it didn't have characters doing things that were wildly out of whack with their known motives / past actions. or incredibly stupid.

they could have used a lot more time to lay out the littlefinger thing - given the rushed exposition i feel like they didn't answer some key questions about when sansa knew, when bran clued her in (because he must have, right... she knew about lysa arryn directly but had no way of knowing all the original KL / ned's death stuff)... and when / if arya was in the loop as well. the way they all ganged up on him at the end certainly made it seem like they had a chance to pregame it. but as it stands, though i think there are reasonable character-driven explanations for the whole sequence of events, it definitely felt rushed.

one thing regarding the tyrion / cersei convo... if she had planned all along to send euron to get the golden company, was she also planning all along to falsely commit her troops? what happens if tyrion doesn't come talk to her? does she just wander back and be like, actually guys i changed my mind? also, if they didn't really believe (or at least, couldn't know for sure) that jon snow was showing up with a wight, how did they plan that little bit of theater ahead of time? i guess they could have had a broad outline and improv'd it a bit, but it still seemed a little off.

also lol that wight got pretty ****ing close to cersei, where was the mountain for that ****? would have been funny if it ripped her throat out and everybody was like, ummm, oops, REALLY sorry about that, so... with whomst do we negotiate now??

also lol at the blueballs some of you bastards must have after not getting clegane bowl
08-27-2017 , 10:50 PM
Yeah, also was wondering what Cersei's plan was in the invent that Tyrion didn't talk to her
08-27-2017 , 10:50 PM
Cleganebowl was all but confirmed for season 8 obv. It makes sense they didn't want to use 30 minutes of the finale for it since they need to progress other story lines. I'm sure it will get it's own episode in season 8 (****ing confirmed, ldo)

Theres no way for the Baelish storyline to make sense, they wrote themselves into a corner. You'd have to be Shakespeare to write your way out. Its probably the best anyone can do given what they were working with in s7

Think about it from Peters POV, you are lord of the riverlands and lord protector of the veil, you own 1/5 of westeros and a 30k+ army under your command. And you march most of this army into Winterfel and give up all your power for????? This is littlefinger who survived and thrived 20 years in kings landing. Writing him as a complete dumbass will never make any sense.
